A few months had passed since La Fête and the engagement, and Serena Yvonne and Ash Ketchum were settling into their life together very well. Ash enjoyed his job as a "Battle Consultant" at the Kalos League and Serena was developing her Pokepuff business, "Pancham's Puffs"named for her beloved Pancham. The couple lived in Lumiose City with all of their friends and enjoyed going out for cocktails most nights.
Their friends were doing well, too. Korrina surrendered her job as gym leader in Shalour City and moved to Lumoise City to be closer to Clemont. Shauna and Tierno decided to move in together as well. Bonnie was getting older and adjusting to the new normal of having Korrina around most of the time. Korrina was teaching karate classes for kids with Lucario while Clemont ran the Lumiose City Gym. Meanwhile, Shauna is working as a performance coach for Pokemon Showcases and Tierno is working at the Kalos League as well in Pokemon Resources. For the most part, everything was going spectacular as the group who were once teenagers were transitioning into being young adults.
