RYDERS POV:

As I sit here on the cold concrete floor, I can't help but to think of Casey, and if she's safe. I tried to look around the room to occupy my thoughts of something else, but there's nothing. Nothing but pitch blackness.

I huffed, taking the the cold, moldy air in. After a week and a half you'd think someone would have found me by now, but I guess not.

Or maybe no one is really worried I'm gone. That must be it. But I swear, I thought Casey, or Mason would have come to look for me. Unless they are taken too.

What does this person want?

I laid backwards, leaning my head against the pile of blankets I was given. As I stared up into the darkness, Casey crossed my mind once more.

Her beautiful smile, and the way she has a small dimple on her left cheek when she laughs. When she's upset, I'm the only one to be able to get her out of her state. Well besides Beth or Mason. The way she walks, she always has a jump in her step.

But the main thing I remember is the day I told her I loved her the first time.

Flashback:

"One question." She asked me.

"What's that?" I answered.

"What about when you said that you love me?"

"Oh, um." I rubbed the back of my neck, and looked at the ground.

"Because.. I do. I love you Casey. I know you just became my girlfriend, but since I've known you so far, I've felt like I've known you forever. I've told you stuff no one knows, and I do that because I trust you. You mean a lot to me, and I'm honestly scared that I'll loose you. That's why when I went upstairs cause my mom, I was hoping you would have followed because I knew she would say something like that. She always does. That's how she runs girls away from me. Ever since My dad left, she thinks I'll be like him and leave all the girls I get. But she doesn't realize I'm not like that. Especially when it comes to you. Your more important to me than anyone in this world. If I could have any girl I wanted, I'm glad it's you I chose."

She stood there just staring at me. It kinda made me uneasy. Did I go to far with it? Does she not love me back?

"I love you Ryder." Casey said. I smiled at her.

Flashback end:

A tear slipped down my cheek. I couldn't help it. I miss that girl so much. It wasn't even my intention to break up with her. Whoever took my, demanded me to break up with her, or else they'll kill me. I didn't want to die, because I know it would be a big impact on everyone at that school.

I jumped up into a sitting position with my heart racing as something banging against a metal door.

A gun shot was outside. I'm going to die. That's the only thing running through my mind. The door opened, blinding me by the bright life from outside.

"Hello?" Someone called out. I don't know who it is, but the voice sounded familiar.

"I'm here!" I yelled. I saw the figure walking to me. Once they reached me, I saw the face of the person.

"Tyler?" I questioned the guy.

"I'm here to save you." Tyler told me.

"What? Why? Aren't you-"

"Shush. I'll answer any questions later. First I have to get you out of here." He untied the ropes from behind my back.

"Thanks."

He grabbed my arm, and led me through the building I was placed in. With the light shining, you could see mold growing on the walls, and ceiling. You can even see water damage closer to where the door was opened at.

We climbed over boxes, and tables, and we stopped at a door in the back of the building.

"We are going through here. I unlocked it before I opened that big door." He looked back to the door and nodded to it.

Tyler turned the doorknob, and pushed the door open revealing the brightness again. I put my arm over my eyes to shield them.

"Let's go." Tyler ordered.

We passed through thorns, different bushes, and crossed a log above a creek. Of course this place is in the woods. It makes it harder for anyone to find it.

We finally reached town after about a hour of walking through the woods. I can't believe it took that long for Tyler to get there. But when the person who took me drove, we got here a lot quicker. Well obviously because it's by car.

Tyler called Casey, to tell her to meet up with us. I can't wait to see her again.

okay kinda choppy, and fast paced. But here is a quick view of Ryder from when he got rescued. :)
