I opened the doors to my school and headed to my locker. Hopefully Beth or Ryder isn't here yet.

I pulled out my phone and looked at it for the first time today.

I had two texts, and a lot of social media notifications.

Beth: Just sneak out, you have to come to the party.

Beth: It's been two hours, where are you?

I chuckled and placed my phone in my pocket. I opened up my locker, and placed some of my books back in.

I shut it, and headed to my first class. When I entered the room and sat down, the bell rung. Well at least I won't have to fight hallway traffic.

I watched as people came into the room, and sat down. Beth came in and walked straight to me.

"Get up, now." Her voice stern. I stood up and walked out of the room with her.

"Where were you last night?" She had her arms crossed over her chest. This is what I was afraid of.

"Sorry, I asked my mom but she made me stay home and study. You know how my mom is. And I kinda fell asleep while studying."

"Why couldn't you have lied! You could have studied for a half hour before sneaking out."

"look Beth! Just because you can do whatever you want doesn't mean everyone else can! At least i'm trying to make my parents happy and at least I'm trying to make a good future out of myself. Yes it may get annoying having to study all the time, but at least I'll get into a good college! And if you don't like it, then you don't have to speak with me."

Once I finished I looked at her to see if I could read her emotion. But nothing. Beth held a blank look on her face. she turned around and headed down the hallway not talking. I turned around and headed back into class. I really wasn't in the mood for this today, especially after my mom this morning.

The whole day went really slow. I didn't cross paths with Beth, or Ryder. Honestly I don't think Ryder came to school, and Beth may have took a different way to her classes.

I shut my locker to see someone right beside it.

"Ryder?"

"That's me ."

"Where have you been all day?"

"That's for you not to know, but you find out." He smirked. "You ready to go on an adventure?"

He held out his hand and I gladly took it. Yes I may not should be doing this, but adventures are always fun.

Ryder led me out to his truck, and opened the door for me. He quickly jogged to his side and started the truck and tore out of the parking lot.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Somewhere." he smiled.

"Like where?" I said in a childish voice.

"You'll see." I didn't talk after that. Ryder turned on the radio.

I softly sang to the song that started to play. Once it finished Ryder pulled up to a dirt road.

"You sing really good." He commented. I blushed. "And your cute when you blush."

That just made me blush harder.

"Thanks."

After another ten minutes of driving on a dirt road in the middle of no where, I see a lake. Ryder parked, and shut off the engine. We both got out, and headed to the dock.

The sun was still in the sky, but it was also slowly setting. So it made the water darker, and the trees more blackish green. The sky also held a orange tint to it.

"This is beautiful." I gushed in awe.

"Yeah. I come here when I just want to think. Your the first girl I've ever brought here. Actually, make that the first person I've ever brought here."

We sat down on the dock letting our feet graze just above the water. We sat in silence.

"How did you find this place?" I asked.

"Well I was driving one day while my parents were fighting. I saw a dirt road and drove all the way down and I found this. It was in the middle of the day so it didn't look at pretty as it does now. And I also didn't have a wonderful girl sitting beside me at the time."

"I'm not wonderful." I looked him in the eyes.

"Yes you are."

"Tell me."

"Your smart, beautiful, talented, crazy, fun, your personality is cute, and your the only girl who isn't all crazy over me. I feel like I can be myself around you."

"Awe, I didn't know the bad boy had a sweet spot." I poked his cheek.

It only comes out when your around." he softly whispered. I don't know if he said it that low to make me not hear it, or wanted it to be a special kind of thing. So I chose to ignore it and watch the sun set with our schools most precious thing, sitting beside me.

So tbh, I was going to end this book and delete it. but someone commented on it and on my wall saying to update. I didn't think it was that good, but I guess so. So here is a update. :)
