I made my way to the book store that sits at the corner of the street just like he said. Once he hung up, he sent me the street name, and the book store name, thank gosh.

I rounded the corner, looked up, and read the name, books 101. Cheesy name, but oh well. That's what you get for being a small book store right?

I sat at the bench outside the door, and pulled my phone out. I know it's a hour early than the original time we were suppose to meet, but if he can help me now, I'll take it. Also because I don't want to be home with my mom.

I pulled my phone out and as soon as I did, someone tapped my shoulder. I looked up to see who it was.

A guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a few freckles. He seems pretty build, and he's, I'm guessing, six foot three?

"May I help you?" I asked the guy.

"Casey?" He spoke, and I instantly remembered the voice.

"Are you Marshal?" I asked. I mean he looks like one. Or maybe a Jeff. Nah, he looks like a Marshal.

"Yes I am. Why did you want to meet up early?" He asked sitting down beside me."

"It's a long story." I sighed, looking at the ground.

"You can tell me. Remember I'm going to help you with this. Plus we have a hour before we have to go to where we have to actually be."

"Oh okay. Well I came home to find a police officer-" He cut me off.

"Officer John?" He asked.

"How did you know?"

"I'll explain everything later." He said.

At that, I continued my story explaining what happen and why I wanted to meet up early.

"Officer John ended up being at my house asking me if my name is Casey, and I agreed. Then he asked if I've heard where Ryder is or if I got anything from him since he's missing. I showed him the text we have sent. Now he's on the case about finding Ryder, and also Tyler."

"Oh. Okay. You see, if Tyler knows he's being chased or is wanted, he will not come out of hiding unless he knows it's one hundred percent safe."

"I know this. If you don't know, Tyler and I use to be good friends, and we dated."

"So your the girl that was with him when he killed his father?" He looked at me in the eyes.

"Yeah, that's me."

"Why did you hand him the knife in the first place?"

"Fear." I don't know how much my one word answer would help him, but what's with all the questions?

"What did you fear?" He pushed.

"That if I didn't do as told, that he would hurt me, or the people I loved back home. I always did what he told me to do, and since he was on a rage of slowly killing his father, I was scared he would have killed me. Then when we got took to court, I told them the truth, so I didn't stay as long. Even thought I did hand Tyler the knife."

"Well that answers my next question." He mumbled.

"What was it? And why do you want to know so much about this?"

"I'm trying to get all the details, and information I can to make a plan on him. We will get Ryder back, if he's with Tyler, and we will win this fight against him. Tyler isn't going to win again." I heard a smack, so I looked over at marshal, to see a red hand print starting to form on his forehead.

"What do you mean?" I looked him dead in the eyes.

"I'm not suppose to say anything." I stood up, and grabbed him by his hair, and pulled it up slightly.

"I swear, you better tell me or I'll leave right now and do this mission by myself, even if it means I get killed. I'm not going to open up to someone who won't tell me secrets about the guy who is currently trying to get to me." I let go of his hair, and pushed his shoulders back.

"Fine you really want to know? Tyler got out of jail a week early, and while around town he got ahold of a girl by the name of Chloe, and forced her to agree to be cousins with him, and Colton. Him and Colton are actual cousins, but he thought if he had a girl, it would be much easier to get ahold of you. He blackmailed her, and almost killed her."

I put my hand over my mouth in shock. This can't be true though, can it? Is it the same Chloe that was at the cabin last weekend with us? She kissed Ryder. She tried to steal him from me. I knew there was so thing about her when I first met her.

"Yes it's the Chloe from the camping trip." Marshal said as if reading my mind.

"So she isn't really here cause Colton. She's hear to team up with Tyler to get me?"

"You my friend, are correct."

"Is Colton on any danger? What about Mason and Beth?" I asked already knowing what the answer might be.

"Not really sure about Mason yet, just because Tyler thinks he can help him get to you. In what way, I'm not sure. He might try to wait until you two are hanging out to make his move. He's stronger, a lot stronger than Mason so it won't take much to take him down. Colton might be the next person to disappear. Since he found out him and Chloe are "cousins", he's wanting to hang out with her and get to know her. How she drug him in, she said his moms sister had a secret daughter whom she put up for adoption, which led to being Chloe. But that's all a lie, even thought Colton believed her. Beth is another story. I'm not really sure how you haven't seen the signs with her and Tyler. Her and Tyler are a thing, but she doesn't want to admit to it. She is trying to keep it hidden because she knows what happen between you and him a few years ago. Wale owe today when she came by, she was pretending to be upset and hurt. Tyler never left her. But what Beth doesn't know, Tyler doesn't care about her, he's just using her. I've tried to help Beth, but she won't listen to me. She thinks it's true love between them, but it isn't."

"So earlier today, Tyler came into my house and left that note on my tv?"

"Correct."

"So he does have Ryder then?"

"That can be either true or false, just because he is Tyler. He's going to know that you think he has him, so he would probably take him somewhere else and keep him captive there, until he gets you. Or get whatever he wants."

"Okay, this is starting to make sense. But I still have a few more questions."

"Well, let's go down to the ice cream parlor, and we can finish discussing this, before we have to leave."

"Leave where?" I asked.

"To where we can talk more in depth about this, and where I can keep you safe."

"Okay."
