When Carmen woke up, her tired eyes slowly grazed around as she tried to take in her surroundings. Her mind was foggy, and all that she could make out was fences, flickering lights, and surges of electricity. A power plant. A groan left her lips as she attempted to sit up, but she was chained to a fence behind her. This sparks panic within her and her eyes fly open as she attempts to jiggle out of the restraints, to no avail.

Faint talking to her right catches her attention. She slowly turns her head and notices Kira and the man talking, Kira also chained to the fence with tears streaking down her face. Barrow was kneeled next to her, his shaking hands holding up a phone camera. He takes picture after picture of her until she turns her head away from him and towards Carmen, her eyes filled with panic.

Barrow glanced over to her and begins walking over to Carmen upon realizing that she had woken up. He kneels next to her and she gulps at their close proximity. He holds up the phone once again and smiles at the screen, the shuttering sound effect from the phone telling her that he was taking pictures of her as well.

"Why are you doing this?" She pleads weakly, turning her head away from the camera.

"I just want a little proof of our time here together . . Proof for all those people who never believed." He speaks, his voice sending shivers down her spine.

"Okay, you got your picture," Kira snarls, struggling against her restraints. "Do you wanna let us go now?"

He chuckles darkly and shakes his head, setting the phone down. "Did you ever see a movie called Village of the Damned? The original, not the re-make- Nobody cares about crappy re-makes. I'm talking about the 1960 masterpiece! It's about this group of children . . beautiful children," He lifts a hand up to stroke the side of Carmen's cheek gently, causing her to flinch away. "But they could make their eyes glow, and they did terrible, terrible things."

He stands up and begins to pace around in front of them, his demeanor now stiff and angry. "Now when I told everyone that I saw children with glowing eyes, they didn't believe me! I tried to get them to do something, but they wouldn't budge! So, I am going to make them do something."

He kneels down and picks up a large cord, exposed wires hanging off of the top of it. "I'm going to galvanize them."

With that, he drags the cords along the metal fence they were against, curating flying sparks as well as loud sobs from the two girls. The loud, sudden revving of a motorcycle and a truck outside catch all of their attention, sparking hope within Carmen and Kira. Barrow looks up and his head turns towards the door, but his face is anything but scared. Instead, he chuckles darkly to himself and backs away from the two girls to hide himself in the shadows, awaiting the person's arrival.

Scott ran in alone, his bike helmet tucked underneath his arm.

"Scott, watch out!" Kira screams, just as Barrow emerges from the shadows and jabs at Scott with the wires, electrocuting him and sending him flying across the room. Carmen begins to cry out as Barrow sighs and once again directs his attention to the two girls, stalking towards them.

"Don't!" Scott chokes out, curled up into a ball on the floor. "They're not the ones you want!"

Barrow doesn't listen. Both girls were now crying rivers as he kneels down to Kira's level, stroking her hair soothingly. The wires were getting closer and closer to her face, and when they finally met her skin, time seemed to go slower.

An explosion of sparks began to set off within the power plant, and Carmen stuffs her head into her knees to keep from damaging her eyes from the harsh brightness. Everything electrical within the building was going haywire, and all around her, she could hear the strong surging of electricity on metal.

When she finally looks up, her mind turns to mush. Kira stood, free from the chains, with Barrow laying lifeless at her feet. Her palms were open and all of the surging and sparks were gravitating towards her, seeping their way into her hands. Kira stood in the midst, as confused as they all were about what was happening.

When all of the light had been absorbed, aside from the still flickering lights overhead, Kira let out a heavy sigh, looking around at all of them in shock.

"Carmen!" A voice echoes, but not from the direction of where Scott entered (Also where Stiles and Lydia were running in right now). Carmen turns her head in the direction of the voice and immediately locks eyes with Casey, a breath of relief escaping her chapped lips.

She cries out to him and he falls to his knees beside her, genuine concern in his eyes. He begins to fumble with the chains, trying to find a way to break her free. Eventually he gave up and his eyes flashes blue, his canines protruding from his gums angrily. He yells out as he pulls the chains apart and they clamber to the ground loudly, catching everyone's attention.

He grabs her hand and helps her to her feet, allowing her to lean on him. His hands go to her face to wipe her tears away, sending a mean glare at the others in the room. "Come on, I'm taking you home."

"Who is this?" Scott takes a step towards us, causing Carmen to freeze in her tracks.

"I can't believe you guys," She lets out weakly, tears forming again in her eyes. "You used me as bait, you wanted me to get caught! I would have died if Kira didn't end up being some fucking freak of nature! What, am I just the expendable candidate? Is that why you did it?"

"Carmen, no, that's-"

"I don't want to hear your bullshit excuses, Scott!" She snarls, anger now bubbling inside of her. "After all I've done for all of you, it seems like all I ever am to you is the odd one out! You never actually cared, you all only use me for bait or for your dirty work or a look out, and I'm sick of it!"

The room is silent, none of them knowing what to say. Carmen gulps, her fists clenching, eyes glowing their default amber color. She snuggles into Casey and he begins to guide her away from the scene, but before they can exit, she turns around one more time, meeting their gazes.

"Throw me to the wolves, and I'll come back as their leader. I'm going to make you regret everything," She snarls, "I promise."

「Q: Would you guys actually be mad if Carmen and Isaac didn't end up together again in the end?」
