author's note; i know what you guys are thinking, finally an update!! maybe, maybe not ?? either way, i haven't been updating due to school, since i'm on fall break, i'll probably be updating here more frequently. i don't get why my one-shots always turn out to be make-out sessions at the end, i'll try to fix myself haha. i've been obsessed with an app called mystic messenger. if you haven't heard of it, it's a dating sim. it's really fun! if you really like dating sims, you'll enjoy this one.

you stared at your phone screen, waiting for the game to finally load. with every percentage, the more excited you got. a friend had told you about the game, and you were a sucker for otome games.
[unknown has entered the chatroom]
unknown: ...hello...? y/n: ? unknown: can you see this? y/n: who are you? unknown: i'm sure you're surprised. unknown: it's not everyday you get a text from a stranger. unknown: i'm a bit flustered myself. i found a smartphone at the subway station but all it had was this messenger app. unknown: i want to find the owner but i don't see any contact info or call records... unknown: i've been sending messages with this app but no reply... unknown: all i see is an address and some important-looking numbers saved in notes. unknown: i'd like to go there myself but i'm currently abroad... y/n: first... who are you? unknown: me? oh sorry. i didn't even introduce myself. unknown: i'm just... a student studying abroad. i'm korean. unknown: i could tell you my name, but it doesn't really matter. unknown: you won't find me on search engines. ^^; unknown: but, anyways.. unknown: can you help me find the owner of this phone? unknown: i know you're surprised to have someone suddenly pop up and ask you a favor like this. unknown: but still... unknown: i'd appreciate it if you could help. y/n: why should i help you? unknown: since you're the only clue i have. unknown: i've been trying to find the owner with this phone, but i didn't find any clues until now. unknown: i would really like to find the owner. unknown: then god will be happy. unknown: oh! sorry i didn't mention it before. i'm religious. unknown: never mind what i just said. i'm sorry if i weirded you out. unknown: can you please help me? i'll make it up to you if i get to go back to korea. unknown: it's really a safe place. if you feel unsafe, you can turn around. unknown: i know the area, it's developed. unknown: please? y/n: fine... i'm leaving right away if it feels sketchy. unknown: you trust me... unknown: thank you! unknown: just a sec. i'll send you the address.
you carried on with the game, until you joined in a chatroom with a bunch of people. you smiled to yourself. this is where the fun begins...
[y/n has entered the chatroom.]
yoosung★: failed my midterms fml T_T 707: cuz u played LOLOL all night lol jumin han: if you want to work for our company, you should take care of your gpa. yoosung★: i'm still on the list?! t_t jumin han: yes. 707: nice~ can't believe u get to work straight after college lol 707: in this day and age! zen: lame. it's nepotism. jumin han: it's called recruitment actually. zen: it's giving a free pass instead of actually training the worker. jumin han: whatever. i couldn't care less what you say. zen: what's the difference between recruitment and nepotism? 707: thought they r the same? O_O?
a few more seconds and arguments passed. then the virtual characters finally took notice. then they all started arguing and panicking again.

it was the start of the game and you were already laughing like crazy. "(y/n), what are you playing?" you turn to your right to see akutagawa sitting right next to you, staring down at your phone. "a-ah! akutagawa! i thought you were out with the port mafia!" you say, hiding your phone screen in embarrassment. "i was. it got pretty boring so i came here to spend some time with you." "so, h-how was it?" you say nervously, trying to change the subject. "(y/n), answer my question first, what were you playing?" you sigh and hold your phone out. "an otome game? (y/n), how cuter can you be?" you blushed at akutagawa's words. "you innocent angel." akutagawa pushed you down on the couch you both were sitting on. "akutagawa, w-what are you doing?" "i said i wanted to spend time with you." "akutagawa..." you sigh as he started peppering light kisses along your neck. "i bet the characters in 'mystic messenger' couldn't show you this much pleasure." then it hit you. akutagawa was jealous of the game? did you hear him right? "i'll make you never think of that silly game ever again." he said, teasingly pulling down your bra straps.
