I woke up with my head on Niall’s lap while Niall was softly hanging from the arm rest; he was both drooling and snoring. He looked so peaceful and sweet I didn’t want to stir him so I decided to shut my eyes for a bit.

I heard a small airy and shrill squeal, “Oh God I knew you guys would look cute!” I picked my drooping head off of his lap and stared at Eleanor quizzically, who looked extremely gorgeous and wide eyed.

“Can you not?”

She scrunched her nose in disgust. God why is it that I feel like the worst human being ever?

“What’s wrong babe?” She scooted over to my side and petted my face and fiddled with my hair. I closed my eyes. I shook my head.

“Surely something is wrong? Are you sick?” she quickly stood up and rummaged all around her purse, “I might have something on here. What do you have? Headache? Cramps?” she averted her attention to me momentarily before then going off in a passion to her room. I eased my head on the armchair opposite from Niall and curled my legs on top of his thigh.

Eleanor reappeared in a short time and had all sorts of medication on her. I chuckled; she seemed like a freaking walk-in rite aid!

She frowned, “Are you laughing at me?” I shook my head. As much as my heart is breaking and as much as I want to drive my fist in her face, I can’t blame her. She’s an innocent bystander in this chaotic drive by labeled My Love Life. All she wanted to do was be a good friend to another friend, a terrible one in fact.

I took a deep sigh, “No it’s just. I’m fine. Perfectly fine.” I put on a smile which she so happily returned. I shuffle around with my hair and finally Niall flips over and walks to the kitchen.

“Listen I really want to talk to you about Louis and I.” She said blankly. It scared me. I couldn’t tell her expression. Was she mad? Oh gosh, I felt my jagged stone tumble widely all around my grumbling acid sack of a stomach. I push my hair back and try to refrain myself from burning red. She inched closer and put her hand over my lap and smiled as if she’s never gotten her heart broken. She seemed as if she was on cloud 9, “It’s just I haven’t told any of my girlfriends and I really need you to lend me an ear.”

I stand up and stretch, “Oh El that’s amazing and I’d love nothing more than to hear about your perfect love story,” I replied through gritted teeth before my arms fell limp at my sides, “But Niall and I have stuff to do today.” She looked rather crestfallen, “Oh well I’ll tell you later. I guess. Have fun.” She got up hugged me promptly before scurrying off into her room. Niall walked in with a banana halfway in his mouth, “Show hut chu whanna do?” He asked as he plopped down on the bed. I shrugged, “I don’t care.”

He took a deep gulp, “Let me shower and we’ll hit the city!” he winked playfully before finishing off his banana and running to the bathroom.

I sat in silence, flipping through an old magazine, for about 10 minutes before Zayn and Louis popped up.

“Morning!” They cheered delightfully as if Louis had no idea how much I'm hurting, how much I'm aching. How could he possibly be so cruel?

I smiled and nodded back just as cheerfully. Two can play this stupid game. I heard deafening noises come from the kitchen as if they were on a construction site. Finally they reappeared with a bowl of cereal in each hand. “Oh shit, I forgot some orange juice.” Louis chuckled dryly and turns back and Zayn shrugged and went on back to his room.

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Tell you what?”

“That you’re dating Niall.” He spat with such fury I could see the venom spew out of his lips and quite frankly it terrified me. I felt like a child being scolded for something I didn’t do, “What?” I questioned. I stared up at him from the couch. I could feel my breath catch in my throat. He shook his head, “I can’t believe you’re dating.” He whispered with urgency. I rolled my eyes.

“You should be the last to talk.” I scoffed trying extremely hard to imitate the exact same venom he poured out. “So when did you guys start seeing each other?”

“First of all, it’s none of your business and second of all we aren’t!” I exclaimed feeling the blood rush to my cheek.

He clenched his fists tightly and let go then clenched yet again. A tell he was becoming frustrated. He raised his palm and dug around his back pocket and threw People’s Weekly on my lap with incredible force. On the front was a picture of Niall and I touching hands in the airport. Has the Irish cutie finally found his princess? It read in big bold yellow retched letters.

I thumb through the magazine until I land on the article. It talks about a romantic getaway and how we’ve been spotted together recently yada yada. Once I read it, I read it yet again unable to process this junk! God can’t they come up with something a bit more clever?

Louis eyes weren’t bright and clear like usual, they were dark-like the ocean in the middle of a storm- and they casted a darkness that made my core shiver, “Oh my God Louis William Tomlinson are you jealous?”

He rolled his eyes, “Of course not, I banged you first remember?” By this time he was well on his way down the hall and he cocked his head over his shoulder and flashed me a bright grin.

“I hate you.” I whispered so hoarsely he whipped his head around to make sure it was me who had responded. He strolled over to me in three easy steps and hovered above me. “You’re lying. I know it,” he smirked at me as if I was a science experiment that went exactly the way he planned, “I know you Jay. The way your bite the inside of your cheek or twitch your left pointer finger. You’re lying and you know I know it.”

I raised my hand to slap him but Harry came out of the hall running like a mad man. “Harry stop fucking around!”

Harry shot past us and so did a very much naked Niall. I tried hard not to laugh. He was extremely pink in the face as they dashed around the hotel room. I gave Louis a cold stare before walking off to my room to get my clothes so I can shower.
