Chapter Twelve

Nothing happened that night. Sadly that is. It's been a week now and we had only talked once. 

Nothing happened after the moment we had. (Lol the disappointment ikr) We went to go grab some mcdonalds before we parted our ways and I walked home myself which was a bit unusual. Normally he would send me home. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt me a little. Maybe he just saw us as friends. I mean moments like ours happens to all types of friends.  

Fleur came back to London and Sav went to go stay with her brother in Brighton, leaving me alone in the flat again. Fleur wanted to meet up with me for lunch so that's where I'm currently heading right now. She was the friend where I would tell everything to, from family to love life, she knew it all. 

We sat down at a cute cafe in Covent Garden ordering our food. 

"Y/n." Fleur looked up at me with concerned eyes.

"Yeah." I sent a little crooked smile her way

"What's wrong?" Her face laid the same expression. 

"Nothing." I spoke quickly.

"Y/N." Her eyebrows raised.

"It's just a stupid crush." I scoffed.

"Wait, you mean Simon?" Her entire face lit up.

"Yeah." my glaze went down

"You've been talking to him all summer?" she had a little grin on

"Yeah" I swallowed.

"Are you guys dating?" Her grin grew wider.

"No." I pursed my lips digging into my food.

Our conversation moved on after that.

Another week passed. Simon still hasn't contacted me and my anxiety grew a little everyday.

Fleur called me inviting me to hang out with her and a few of her friends. She knew I was lonely and I wasn't even gonna deny it. I mean, why did he just leave me life. Like no explanation wtf. But that thought is for another day because honestly Simon needed to be the last thing on my mind right now. 

Following the same routine, I got ready with Fleur and we left the flat. Fleur wore a little black dress with stilettos as I wore a strapless nude dress. The elevator doors opened, my phone buzzed whilst I was heading out causing me not to pay attention and bump into someone.  

"I'm so sorry." I turned back to face the person.

"Y/N?" It was Tobi.

"Tobi?" I asked facing him, a little smile grew on my face to see him. 

"You look amazing" He raised his eyebrow, blushing a little when he saw Fleur.

"Thank you" I grinned watching him drool a little over Fleur, who by the way was blushing a little. 

"Umm I haven't see you in a while." He smile turning his attention back to me. 

"I know, Simon and I haven't been talking lately." I nodded my head, breaking his tension with Fleur.

"Oh really?" His attention fully turned back to me.

"Guess he's been busy." I sighed. Seeing the look on Tobi's concerned face.

"I'll talk to him."

"Oh, Tobi its okay, I dont think he wants to talk to me." I swallowed, the pain kind of hit me. 

"Y/N, I'll talk to him." He smiled putting his hand on my shoulder, I mouthed the words thank you to him before grinning.

"So where are you two going?" His eyes back on Fleur.

"To a party, you can come if you want, ill send u the address when I'm there." I smiled at the adorable way Tobi and Fleur were blushing at each other. Once the words came out of my mouth I could see smiles coming from both of them.

"Yeah, I'll try to come, I'm not doing anything tonight." He grinned proudly. We parted our ways, Tobi waving at Fleur.

"You fancy Tobi dont you?" I laughed talking to Fleur once we were out of the building.

"He's really cute alright?" She chuckled. 

*Skip trip to party*

We got out of the uber and onto the sidewalk that was filled with partygoers and different sorts of people. Fleur took my hand as we were let into the lit club prying loud music. 

I knew most of the girls and guys that were in the party, so it wasn't that awkward once Fleur had me talk to them. Not gonna lie there were a lot of cute guys there that I would be interested in but my mind was still on Simon.  

We danced and drank so much I knew I was pretty close to shitfaced but somehow I would still remember everything. I was pretty sensible when drunk okay. It was about 11pm now and I knew we would all be done by daylight. The entire night so far, I had my eyes on a cute tall brunette with blue eyes who I'm sure was pretty keen on me. We talked a bit and he bought me a drink at one point but I wasn't intending on anything happening.

The brunette and I talked and danced a little until his friends called him away and I went to go sit down with Fleur at the corner of the club. 

"Heyyy" I slurred a little slouching down on the couch with Fleur. 

"Hellooo" She chuckled at me

My phone buzzed, causing a stop in our conversation. 

*Tobi sent you a message [11:12PM]* 

At the club now!

I closed my phone, leaving the message on seen. Soon enough Tobi appeared. I saw he came with a few of the guys but I could only make out Cal and Jide who disappeared into the crowd. I left Tobi to talk with Fleur. 

As I stood up to leave, I took a glance at Tobi and Fleur to realize the empty part of me that missed Simon and our late night flirts or hilarious conversations. I tried texting him a couple times only to be given short replies. I pulled out my phone. 

*You to Simon 💕 [11:19PM]*

Hey

The message soon went to seen. I waited a minute, in the middle of a club staring at my screen hoping his reply would come. But it didn't. It was left as seen. I could feel the pain in my chest when I realized he wasn't going to reply. I gave my all to this guy and he couldn't even fucking reply to a hey? I put my phone away, wiped the tear before going back into the crowd. Eventually I made my way back to the cute brunette and danced with him for a while. I could feel the tension between both of us in this crowded club. I thought I could hear a few murmurs of voices I remember but I decided to ignore them. 

Soon enough he leaned into me and I followed through. He pulled onto my waist but it didn't satisfy me the way Simon did it. We were still into it when-

"Y/N." 

I pulled away and turned to see those baby blue eyes staring straight back at mine.
