You looked at your boyfriend from afar, he never liked you to be close, he wouldn't risk putting you in harms way. You noticed how tense he got after so much pack drama.
You had known Derek since middle school, and since day one, you knew he was the man for you. He always pushed you away however. Especially after what happened to Paige.
"Paris, I know you're out there." He grunted and opened the door to his loft wider for you to come in. You quickly scrambled into his loft and hugged him. He relaxed in your touch. You smiled up at him and he grinned back. "My beautiful Paris." He cooed as he sat on the couch. You sat on his lap and looked at him. "My beast." You softly said.
You remembered all the times you were there in his tough times, you helped him.
-flashback-
"Just get out Paris!" He shouted. His Amber eyes burned into yours and you visibly flinched, but it didn't affect him. He was overly pissed that you went to the movies with Scott and Allison without telling him.
"Der bear please listen to me." You tried but to no avail. His hands clenched at his sides with his jaw clenched. You knew he was holding himself back. He grew up with so much violence, that was all he could resort to.
Slowly, and cautiously, you walked up to him, first placing a tender hand on his bicep. He didn't move. "I love you Derek, and I know you can't hurt me." You said as you rested your head on his chest, listening to his heart slow down. His muscles unclenched and he looked down at you.
Being human always had an affect on him, he felt like you were a gentle flower that he couldn't dare ruin. One look at your soft features and his heart would swell and his anger would go away.
His arms wrapped around you're waist as he held you against him, taking in your sweet scent. "I love you too Paris. You don't know what you do to me." He would breath out.

You always remembered those time you helped him because he would always remind you that you're his beauty but he's your beast.
