Si Beatrice ay kasalukuyang nakapiit sa isa sa mga detention cell ng palasyo. Awang awa siya sa sarili sa pinagdadaanan ng mga sandaling iyon at iniisip pa niya ang kanyang ama na hindi niya alam kung ano ng nangyari. Nasa ganoong estado siya ng bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa foon ang kaibigan niyang si Aldrich.
"Aldrich..." humihikbing ani Beatrice
"Beatrice..." ani naman ni Ty
"Aldrich... I have nothing... To do with it...you...you have to believe me...I won't do that to you...I can't do that to you..." ani naman ni Beatrice na umiiyak.
Si Ty naman ay nanatiling tahimik na nakatingin lang sa mata ni Beatrice.
"You don't believe me, do you?" ani naman ni Beatrice na puno ng hinanakit ang mga mata.
"I'm sorry Beatrice... I believe you...I came here to tell you that you will be released from this detention cell...but you would still need to attend through the trial..." ani naman ni Ty
"Thank you... Thank you Aldrich... That's fine, I can face the Royal Council. I didn't do anything wrong so I'm confident..." ani naman ni Beatrice

Nang gabing iyon ay magkakaharap na nag usap sina Andrei at JT. Pilit itong kinausap ng binata.
"The Lord Brandt still insist that he has nothing to do with this. Our case isn't that strong if we only have the doctor." ani naman ni Andrei na may pag aalala.
"What will happen?" tanong naman ni JT
"He can just be stripped off his title but he can go free if worse happens." sagot naman ni Andrei
"You mean we need a confession?" tanong naman ni JT
"Yes we do." ani naman ni Andrei
"Why don't we use Beatrice?" ani naman ni JT na may naisip na paraan.
"What do you mean?" tanong naman ni Andrei
"His father loves her. I'm sure he won't let anything happen to his only daughter. We can ask Beatrice to admit the fault. If her father thinks that her life would be on line I think he would willingly do the confession himself." ani naman ni JT
"I don't think Beatrice will agree to it JT. She still believes that her father's innocent." ani naman ni Andrei
"A bargain." ani naman ni JT
"What bargain are you thinking JT?" tanong naman ni Andrei
"If she would agree we can bargain for her father's life. I mean we don't really have to kill him as long as we can keep him in prison so he can pay for what he did right?" ani naman ni JT
Matamang nagisip ang hari bago sumagot.
"I thinkyou have a point...we are not murderers. I want him to be punished for the things he did but not to the point of killing someone... " ani naman ni Andrei
