Tris's POV

So we're back in my room and trying to forget what happened.

Tobias is lying down on my bed with his phone in his hand.

"I love your screensaver",I tell him.

"I love it too",He says winking making me smile.

"I want that pic too",I say.

"I'm gonna send it to you",He says.A second later I hear a buzz.

"I got it.Wait ! How do you know my number ?",I ask since I never gave it to him.

"I have contacts",He says grinning.

"Christina gave it to you didn't she ?",I ask.

"In other words...you could say that",He says making me laugh.He laughs too.

I yawn and he looks at me.

"Go to sleep,Tris",He says.

"Yeah.I will",I say.I enter the bathroom,change into my night suit,brush my teeth and come out of the bathroom.

Tobias is still on my bed.Messaging.

"You're here.I'm going then.Bye Tris",He says as soon as he sees me.

Something about the way he says it tells me that he wants to stay.

"You can stay if you want",I say.

"You sure ?",He asks.

"Yeah",I say.

"Then I'm staying",He says making me smile.

Tobias's POV

Tris is asleep and I'm....well it's very obvious.I'm not.

I just watch her as she's sleeping.

She's so beautiful.

She lost so much in life.It's not fair.

No one will ever love you.You're so miserable.You're mom died because you were just a big embarrassment to us.

You're mom was ashamed of you.

You killed her.

No one will ever love you.

No one can love you.You're just a useless piece of shit.

Marcus's words come flooding into my head for some reason as I watch Tris.

No matter how much I try to shake away the memories....they're always there.Least I can do is ignore them.

"Tobias....are you okay ?",Tris asks.I didn't realize she was awake.

"I am",I lie to her.

"I know you're lying Tobias.Tell me.Is something wrong ?",Tris asks placing her hand on my cheek.

"No it's just....I got some flashback that's all",I say.

"Did you get them before Will and Chris kissed too ?",She asks.I nod.

"Want to talk about them ?",She asks.

"I just keep remembering one thing Marcus said for some reason I don't know",I say.

"What is it ?",She asks.

"No one will ever love you",I say.

"Tobias....",Tris begins and hugs me.

"Don't believe that.Not even for a moment.There are so many people who love you.Des,Uriah,Will,Zeke,Shauna,Chris,Mar and...me",She says making me smile even though she can't see it.

We break the hug and I kiss her.

"I love you,Tobias.So so much",She says after we break the kiss.

"I love you too,Tris.So so much",I say with a smile.

"Good night",I tell her.

"You too",Tris says.

This time I fall asleep.

With Tris wrapped in my arms.
