Nico's pov

"Nico! Get up, we're going to be late for school and you're the only one who can drive me and I don't want to be late!" Hazel yelled from downstairs. When I didn't reply she stomped up the stairs and threw my door open.

"Gah, Hazel!" I exclaimed trying to cover myself with the remaining black blankets on my bed, "what if I was naked!"
She shrugged,
"Get a lock on your door,"

"I already have one," I grumbled looking over at my door and remembering that I forgot to lock it when I got home last night.

"Whatever just get up! It's only been 2 weeks into school and I don't want to get a late slip!" She said and slammed the door shut while she walked out of the room, her golden curls flying behind her.
I love my sister, I really do, but she can be so persistent. She hates my attitude and said I 'changed' since she came here.
My dad adopted Hazel when I was 11 hoping it would improve my attitude and it did for a little bit but then when I was 14 I got depression that after a year lead to me getting tattoos and piercings.
I dragged myself out of bed and went to my bathroom that was attached to my room, stripped and stepped into the hot shower washing off all the nightmares of the night before.
After I stepped out and put the special cream on my new tattoo that was on my back, black angel wings.
I pulled on my black ripped skinny jeans and black tee shirt that said 'no' over my new tattoo making me wince slightly. I walked back to the mirror to put on my multiple piercings in my eyebrow, lip, two in one ear and one in the other.
I styled my hair with my gel, put on my leather jacket over the rest of my tattoos that covered my arms.

I jumped off the last steps of the dark wooded stairs and went into the kitchen.
Hazel was finishing some yogurt and granola when I went over and kissed her on the cheek. She was wearing a purple and gold floral dress that went to just above her knees that went nicely with her golden hair and dark skin.

"You look nice, what's the occasion?" I asked as I grabbed a frozen waffle and stuck in the toaster.

"I'm going out with frank after school," she replied quietly. I have no problem with frank, he's a nice guy so I don't know why she's so quiet.

"Ok, so I'm not driving you home?" I replied popping the waffle out so that the outside was warm and the inside was cold.

"Uh ya," she replied putting her bowl away in the dish washer and grabbed her back pack from her chair.

"Ok, just be careful,"

"Is that all you're eating? Nico you're getting really skinny, you should eat more," she said noticing my single waffle in my hand.

"I'm not hungry in the mornings,"

"Ya ya ok. You know I can see you at lunch, you hardly eat! Come on, please eat something more," she begged gesturing at my skinny frame

"Ok fine," I picked up a dark red apple and bit into it looking at her expectantly and she grinned and walked out the room towards the door.

"Thank you!" She exclaimed and as soon as I heard the grey door swing shut I spit out the apple in the garbage and threw the rest out.
Ya ya i know you're probably thinking that I'm a huge waster but I'm not really. If I eat something I usually always finish but I hate eating in the mornings. Don't ask why cause I really don't know. I know of people who have low blood sugar and if they don't eat breakfast they faint but that hasn't happened to me even though my low blood sugar.

I grabbed my bag and hopped into my black convertible Camaro beside Hazel. Technically I shouldn't be driving even though I have my license, I should have a parent in the car but since I look older than I am with my shades and jacket the police never question me. I pulled out, careful not to hit my motorcycle that I usually drove unless Hazel needed a drive, and we went on our way to school. I turned on the radio and wasn't expecting my sleeping with the sirens cd to blast out of the speakers that made Hazel jump, causing me to laugh. I turned it down and switched the cd to the actual radio and 'you know you like it' by DJ snake came on. It wasn't my favourite song but Hazel seemed to like so I kept it on.
I looked over at her as she sang, a big smile on her face and her curly hair whipping around her face.

We pulled into the large parking lot of our high school with our music pounding and earning a few stares but I didn't care. Im always stared at.

I walked around the car and opened the car door for Hazel as she smoothed down her hair. When she was done I took her hand lightly as she stepped out and kissed it softly.
She giggled and slapped my arm playfully,
"Such a gentleman," she said and grabbed her bag from the back seats.

"Ok Hazel, I'll see you tonight," I replied and kissed her cheek. She smiled and waved as she walked over to frank who was waiting for her at the front of the school. I nodded to him and he acknowledged it with a short wave before Hazel threw her arms around him for a hug which was quite amusing considering she was only 5,5 and he was 6,1.

I walked back around to my side of the car to put up the roof when I saw someone staring at me, probably because I was still smiling, an unlikely expression for me, but that smile quickly disappeared as I shot them a earth rattling glare and they looked away.
Grabbing my bag and keys after the roof was up, I walked away with my dark sunglasses on. People shrunk away when I came close and I smirked knowing I was intimidating.

I was getting through the crowds of people fine until Octavian and his two followers Bryce and Michel stopped in front of me. They kind of reminded me of a guy version of mean girls except instead of actually running the school they just acted like they did. Everyone actually hated them all. Octavian thinks he runs the school because he's running against Reyna for class president but most people love Reyna and would never vote him.

"What do you want Octavian." I said dully, more as a statement than a question as I glared at him through my sun glasses.

"Oh nothing di angelo, only now that I think about it, you're in my way," he sneered gesturing to me.
I took off my shades and glared at him making him take a step back, him knowing about the fights I've gotten in. He looked warily at me as I started walking again, bumping his shoulder as I passed.
I smirked, knowing I pissed him off, putting my glasses back on and strutted down the hallway.

Hello people! Okay so I know it's only the first chapter but since I'm writing this before hand there will be many chapters to come- hopefully, and hopefully I don't get bored of this like others that I have taken down after like a week of writing it...
Well that's all I had to say my little hunk muffins!
