Tessa worked hard all the way up until lunch time. She found herself become lost in each story she read, and didn't even notice when Clary walked up to her desk.

"Hey, do you want to come for lunch with us?" She asked.

"Sure." Tessa smiled.

She stood up, grabbed her purse, and followed Clary down the aisle. The person who sat across from her still hadn't shown up. Tessa inspected their desk. It was free of any sort of decorations - almost if anyone didn't work there at all. Tessa quickly shook off the thought, as she got into the elevator with Clary, Isabelle, Cecily, Jace, and a boy named Gabriel who was Isabelle's cousin.

The six of them all walked out of the building and across the street to "Olive Garden". Tessa waited patiently as they all spoke, while waiting to be seated. Once they were finally seated at a table, Isabelle leaned forward.

"Tell us about yourself." She started, twirling her straw around in her glass, with her finger.

"Um well." Tessa started awkwardly. "I'm twenty-one, I have an older brother who lives in London. My parents died when I was really young so my aunt raised my brother and I."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Cecily frowned.

Tessa waved it away. "I don't really remember them, anyways."

"Where's Will?" Gabriel asked.

"Probably hooking up with Tatiana in his car." Jace smirked. "You know how he is."

"Who's Will?" Tessa asked.

"My older brother." Cecily replied, sighing.

"Oh, I haven't met him yet then." Tessa spoke.

"Consider yourself lucky." Clary rolled her eyes.

"Oh come on, he isn't that bad. He's damn sexy." Isabelle grinned devilishly.

"Izzy." Cecily groaned, disgusted.

"Trust me, you'll get what I'm talking about when you see him." Isabelle winked at Tessa. "He's even hotter than Jace."

Tessa only laughed, though she doubted he could be hotter than Jace.

"What?! I'm totally hotter than Will." Jace looked annoyed.

Isabelle only laughed, and Jace cursed under his breath. Everyone ordered their food after that, though Jace was still annoyed. They seem nice, Tessa thought, though she didn't know what to make of that Will person. She had felt disgusted at Jace's earlier comment. Really? Hooking up in your car? After lunch, they all walked back to the office and to their floor. When Tessa walked back to her desk, she noticed that there was finally someone sitting in the desk across from her.

It was the same boy who had been rude to her this morning. His feet were kicked up onto his desk, his white button up shirt was open a bit at the top, and Tessa thought she could spot a bit of a tattoo underneath. A manuscript was resting in his lap, and he looked focused. He looked very familiar, and then it Tessa. The boy was Cecily's brother. Will.

Isabelle was right, Tessa thought as she awkwardly took her seat across from him, he is hotter than Jace. Will didn't even lift his head as she sat down. Tessa began to work, twirling and clicking her pen as absentmindedly, as she started to read. This one's really good, she thought. She was having a hard time deciding which ones she would throw away, and which ones she would keep. Maybe if she--

"Can you stop clicking your pen? It's annoying as hell." A voice said suddenly. The voice was British.

Tessa snapped up and looked across from her, to see Will glaring at her. She immediately blushed.
