*One Year Later*

"When are your friends getting here?" Nate asked.

Tessa sighed, impatiently. "I've told you about a million times. They're going to be here in a few minutes."

"Geez, Tessie, don't pop a blood vessel." Nate smirked.

She only chuckled, and rolled her eyes at him. They were both standing in the kitchen of their house in London, and Tessa was waiting for Cecily and Clary to arrive. It had been a year since she had moved here, and this was her first time seeing them since they had said goodbye at the airport. Though, Tessa still spoke to them everyday. Will, though, was still in a coma. Tessa was still healing and recovering, but she still always felt her heart break every time Cecily brought him upon the phone. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think about him, or miss him. She had just gotten really good at not crying. Though, she there were still nights that she cried so hard that she found it hard to breathe.

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and Tessa practically ran towards it. She swung it open, and there stood Clary and Cecily. Clary's fiery red hair was in a ponytail, and he looked same but a bit older. Cecily looked like she was living again, which made Tessa smile with happiness. Isabelle hadn't come with them, since she had come to visit Tessa a few months before.

"I missed you two so much!" Tessa exclaimed, embracing them both.

"We missed you, too." Clary beamed.

Tessa let them inside, and they all took a seat in the living room. Tessa wasn't sure where Nate had disappeared to, but was too happy to see her two friends to care.

"How have you two been?" Tessa started.

"Better." Cecily admitted.

Clary then started to smile widely, and stuck out her left hand towards Tessa. There on her ring finger, lay an engagement ring. Tessa's eyes almost popped out of her head.

"Jace proposed?!" She exclaimed, excitedly.

"Yup." Clary grinned happily.

"Oh my gosh, that's great!" Tessa said.

She was about to say something when there was a knock at the door. She stood up, and walked towards it, and opened it. When she saw who it was, her stomach dropped. Tessa blinked a few times, not believing who it was. There stood Will. His black as dark as she remembered, and his blue eyes light with happiness. He was smirking at her,and Tessa couldn't form words for a good minute and a half.

"W -- Will?" She whispered. "Is it really you?"

"It's really me." He whispered back.

"How -- how are you here?" Tessa barely got out.

"Uh, don't you want to invite me in before I start telling stories? That's quite rude you know, Tess." Will grinned.

Not being able to contain it any longer, Tessa launched herself at him, hugging him tightly. Never had she thought she would be touching Will again. Her Will. After she had calmed down, Tessa followed him inside, to where both Cecily and Clary were smirking. Tessa learned that Will had woken up a week ago, and had wanted to come here to surprise her.

"I missed you so much." Tessa whispered after he was finished speaking, tears welling in her eyes.

"I could hear you, you know." Will spoke softly. "When you would talk to me. i could hear everything you were saying. I love you, Tessa."

"I love you, too." She replied.

Both Cecily and Clary let out an "awww" and Will and Tessa both blushed, smiling. Even after the subject was changed and Clary began to talk about wedding details, Tessa couldn't help but think about Will. He was actually here, sitting beside her. She had been praying for this for months, and it had happened. Thank, God, she spoke in her mind. Thank you.

"Jace stole your clothes?" Tessa echoed.

"Every last one of them." Will spoke, annoyed. "He told me the day after I woke up, expecting me not to be angry. Just because I was asleep for a year, doesn't mean that I would want him wearing my clothes."

Tessa and Will had decided to go for a walk, that night, just the two of them. The walked hand in hand along the streets, Tessa feeling elated to be in his company again. Nothing could measure up to the gratefulness she felt that he was okay.

She chuckled. "What did he say to that?"

"He said that I was acting like a little bitch for just having woken up from a coma." Will sounded amused.

Tessa laughed, and Will grinned at her. They spoke about random things then, all the way up until they walked onto Blackfriars Bridge. Tessa leaned against the edge, taking in the view. This had become her favourite place in London, though she couldn't pinpoint why. There was something about it that pulled her in.

"Isn't this so pretty?" She breathed.

"It is. Just like you." Will replied.

Tessa chuckled, and was about to say something as she turned to him, when she stopped. Will was down one knee, and small box in his hand. Tessa froze, realizing what he was doing.

"Tessa Gray," Will started. "From the moment I met you, I have been in love with you. I never thought I could be in love, but you've taught me how. Meeting you and being with you, has changed my life. You've changed me for the better, and I couldn't be more grateful to you. I love the way your eyes light up when you talk about books, and how brave and courageous you are. Never in my life have I met a person as interesting and beautiful as you. I love you more you'll ever know. Will you marry me?"

He opened the box to reveal a large diamond ring, and Tessa gasped. Never in a million years had she ever thought Will would ask her this. As she looked at him, she could see their future together and all the years ahead of them. And she wanted it all.

"Yes." Tessa replied, smiling.

Will grinned, stood up, and kissed her. Tessa immediately kissed him back, feeling like that happiest person in the world.
