Running with Scissors

Two.

      My mom dropped me off at the airport which was nice just have some alone time between her and I, she gave me a whole lecture about not getting involved with any band members.
      "I just don't want to be a grandmother again Stella." She said as she helped me unload my bags.
      "Mom I can assure that won't happen okay, I've taken tons of precautions." I was trying very hard to get her to drop the subject.
      "Are you on the pill? The shot? Are you practicing abstinence ?" This was the conversation I wanted to have with my mom at an airport.
      "Mom I got the shot okay. So there absolutely no worries and I'll use condoms if it come to that. But I don't plan on it okay." I felt myself turn a bright red as a said that.
     "Okay good, well I put a box of tampons in your bag just in case you never know how effect those shots will be." I quickly gave her a hug.
     "Okay love you mom. I'll text you when I land in Seattle." She gave me one final hug and then let me go.

6 Hours Later

     I landed in Seattle and was just super excited for this tour. It didn't start until tomorrow but everyone was getting in a day early to get load into the buses and what not. It was already 10 o'clock at night when I got there so I called for an uber and texted Nikki.

Me: Hey I just landed 😊

Nikki💛: Yayy!!! I'm so excited to see you!! 😊 You know which hotel we're staying at right???

Me: Yes! I called for an uber I should be there a little after 11.

Nikki💛: Awesome! This is going to be the best tour ever.

Nikki💛: Also do you mind sharing a bed tonight like I don't want it to be awkward for you?

Me: No of course not. I'll see you soon. 😊

My uber driver just pulled up we loaded all my bags into the car and headed to the hotel. I hadn't out much thought into it but I was going to see my ex and the guy that I could have fallen for, which started to make me super nervous. The only people that knew everything that had happened was Craig and Nikki now because I didn't want to put her in a weird situation this tour. We made it to the hotel a little after 11 I thanked my driver as we pulled out all of my bags. It was nice that the hotel wasn't to far from the venue so it would be easy to load all my bags into the bus tomorrow morning.
I stood outside for a minute trying to shake the nerves but I knew everything would be fine. I walked in and was a little off balance with all the stuff I was caring.
"Geez Stella your going to break your neck." Andrew Oliver laughed at me and grabbed three of my bags "Let me help you."
I smiled "Thank you so much I didn't know how I was going to text Nikki and carry those."
" Come on kiddo I know where your room is, it's going to be a party in there." He lead me to the elevator. And we rode up catching up on the last two months thankfully he didn't mention Devin's name a single time even though I was half hoping he would.
We got to the room and the only person inside was Nikki.
"Stella!" She ran up to me and gave me a hug "I am so happy to see."
"I'm happy to see you too." We sat down all my bags in a corner by Nikki's stuff. "So where is everyone, Andrew told me it was going to be a party in here."
"Oh they went out to the bar, they said something about wanting a real party experience in Seattle, but I knew you'd be here soon so I didn't go with. Why are you here Andrew?" Nikki asked him raising an eyebrow.
"Well umm" he began scratching his neck clearly nervous "Devin forgot his wallet and that has his id in it so I can back to grab it."
So obviously Andrew knew something happened because he looked at me as he spoke about Devin.
"And now that I have it I'm going to go out. Do you ladies want to come?" He spoke heading towards the door.
"No thank you. I really just wanna shower." I looked over to Nikki "but you should go if you want to."
" Are you sure?" I nodded quickly to her. "Okay we won't be out that late." She gave me a huge hug and followed Andrew out the door.
It was nice to be alone for a little while, I took an extremely hot shower rinsing away all of the airport dirt. Then changed into my favorite pair of pajama shorts and a tank top, I wasn't sure who's bed was who's there were 4 beds so I just climbed into the one closest to the window, it was extremely comfortable and I hadn't realized it until now how tired I really was. The room it's self was really dark and just as I was falling asleep I heard people walk in,
"Dude I'm not that drunk," a voice hiccuped.
"I don't care Devin you need to get some sleep okay, we have a show tomorrow and we don't need you getting into anymore trouble." It was a stern voice.
"Okay, okay." I felt the bed sink lower and felt pants being kicked off then there was warmth all around me. I should have moved but it was so warm that I was completely asleep in seconds.
