The monster attacks

So this is the first chapter nothing else really to say about it...

I was taking a walk with Will hear Thalia's tree. I had finally come out to my friends (but I think they already knew it) I was dating Will and everything was fine. Will was still happy as the sunshine while I we as moody as ever. So everything was normal, well as normal as it gets for a half blood. But today some thing was obviously trying to ruin my attempts at smiling because a massive hell hound had decided to pop over for some dinner aka me and Will. I didn't notice it until Will screamed, I turned around and saw the hellhound was attacking him. I screed in race and brought my sword down. I carried will all the way to the infirmary ignoring all the starts I got. Not everyone knew about my relationship. I walked in to see Chiron and another Apollo camper tending to Percy who seemed to have broken both his legs. I wasn't going to ask. Everyone looked at me when I banged the door open and put Will in the bed. The Apollo boy came straight over,

"I need space your going to have to be out the room. There is scratches and bruises everywhere and he seemed to have broken two ribs." Chiron has to practically drag me out.

"Thank you for bringing him here Nico. I also have other matters to talk to you about." He said.

"So I shouldn't question why Percy has broken both of his legs" I asked. Chiron nodded and looked at me with sad eyes.
"Nico, strange things have been going on in Forks. There have been empousa (a/n: is that his you spell it?) And i want you to shadow travel over there to find out. I have already got someone to pack your bags."

"An I going alone?" I asked, this was the first time I was trusted with a mission. No one trusted me because they were scared that I would get angry at someone and accidently get zombie skeletons to come up from the earth. Which, in my defence if that mortal wouldn't stop bugging me about "why are you an emo?", "do you hate everything?", "why did you become one from the dark side?", jeez if she didn't bother me that would of never happened. But in all seriousness. Wouldn't you do that if someone you didn't know kept asking you questions? Anyway Chiron continued to explain that I was going alone and I was attending Forks High School. He said that Percy and Thalia would be joining me as well but half way through the year. We were going to the school because that's were these "monsters" were. He also bought an apartment for me to stay in.

"Why are Thalia and Percy joining me halfway through the year?"

"Thalia is in the middle of a ridiculously long hunt right now and I quote 'I don't want to go to a puny mortal school when I am immortal and it is pointless to sit on a chair when I could be killing stuff' may I remind you those were not my words. I did leave a few curse words out but you get the idea." Okay that explained Thalia. She was a hunter and had no need for high school. But a part of this mission was killing stuff as well I supposed she would be into that. That still didn't explain Percy.

"And Percy wanted to spend more time with Annabeth. You know from when they came back from down there." I knew what he meant. Tartarus.

"Anyway, you will be going straight away. We have already packed for you. You should be in your way. You can Shadow-Travel of you wish" I nodded and walked off to my cabin cause that's where my stuff was. Until Chiron shouted, I turned around.

"And please Nico for the love of gods don't scare any mortals" I smiled and nodded. The thing is I could scare mortals by just looking at them in they eye. Funny that. I grabbed my stuff and began to Shadow Travel.
