"Hi. You're Linda, right? I'm Kira, your brother's girlfriend", she smiled and offered her hand

I shake her hand and gave her a warm smile. "Nice to meet you"

"Firm handshake. I like that", she smiled again". I just gave her a tight smile.

"We're cooking together for lunch. So, you want to join us?", Kira said with hope.

I looked at Brian and he nodded begging me to say yes. I turned my head to Kira again and nodded. "Sure. Why not"

"Great", she said and she began dragging us to the kitchen. We decided to make Lasagna for lunch. It was quite easy.

Kira and me mostly did the cooking. The boys didn't really know how to cook so they mostly sitting in the kitchen and drinking wine.

"So, Linda I heard you want to major in Computer Science", Kira began a conversation after we set the oven.

"Yeah?" I grabbed a glass of water to drink.

"Then you really like computers then"

"Pretty much", I said though I didn't know where this conversation went.

"So much that you know how to hack?", she said and made me choked on my water.

Ethan was beside me patting my back.

"What?", I asked when I was normal again.

"I asked if you know how to hack", she said confused with my shock expression.

"Uh-of course not", I scoffed. I did during high school. I once hacked into the government's database but I didn't look at anything remembering I could get arrested if they found out.

I'd even hacked into the school system to get test questions for Chemistry and spread them to my classmates making us got A and B. I couldn't help it because Mrs Enderson was a pure witch in making tests questions. I got to say it was the most bad ass moment in my life.

I heard the oven ping and I quickly changed the topic. "Food's ready. I'm starving", I said and took out the lasagna using the glove.

The three of them looked amused at my sudden behaviour. Hope Brian or Kira didn't notice my skill in hacking or I would be in real trouble the fact that they were working for law.

"So, Linda do you have a boyfriend?", Kira asked out of nowhere. They were just talking about works and other stuff and I didn't want to interrupt them.

"Uh, no", I answered simply.

"How about that guy yesterday? You went on a date with him", Ethan said, his face fulled with curiosity.

"He kept asking me on a date and I said no. So, to shut his freaking mouth, I said yes. It's only one date anyway", I explained.

"So you don't like him?", he asked.

"No", I said,

He twisted his mouth and took a bite of his lasagna. Was it me or that he seemed glad about it?

"Is he cute?", Kira asked. She lifted her brows in enthusiasm.

"Kira" Brian scolded.

"Oh, babe. Don't tell me you're jealous. I'm just asking. Besides you'll always be the cutest guy for me", she winked at him.

I rolled my eyes. Cheesy much?

"So?", Kira turned her attention to me again.

"A little, I guessed", I kept my head down. I could feel my red was hot.

"You're blushing", Kira squaled then giggled.

"What? No", I almost shouted but it made me blushed even more.

"Uh, I don't wanna hear it", I heard Brian groaned.

Kira still giggled then stopped when Ethan suddenly got up from his chair then left the room. What the hell was his problem?

"Don't worry. He's been like that since this morning. Maybe he's been stressed with work", Brian said, answering my unspoken question.

The three of us continued our lunch. Ethan didn't come back to the kitchen. Me and Kira washed the dishes while Brian probably with Ethan.

"So, how long have you known Brian?", I asked, trying to be friendly.

"Well, it's been 2 years actually. I first met him when I was working a case with him. At first, I thought he was an smart jerk because believe me, most smart guys are jerk", she chuckled. "But he's not. He's the most sweet, kind-hearted guy I've ever met in my life"

The way she talked about Brian, it was clear that she was so in love with him.

"You know, he always talks about you.", she smiled.

A plate that I was washing almost slipped. "Really?"

"Yeah. Even on our first date, he mostly talked about you. If I didn't know you're his sister I might think you're his girlfriend", she laughed, grabbing another plate to dry.

"Oh", was that I could say.

After washing the last plate, I grabbed a cloth to dry my hands.

"You know you can talk to me, right?", Kira said.

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean?"

"I know you have a lot of things on your plate and it seems you never share it with Brian. So, as a girl, I know how it feels. I just want you to know that I'll always here if you want to talk", she said softly.

"Uh, thanks", I smiled. "I need to do some homeworks, so can I go to my room?"

"Sure. It's yours not mine", she joked. Without realizing, I laughed which was weird. I never got friendly with someone I just met. I gueesed Kira had this effect to everyone.

I closed my bedroom door and did my homework. Guessed the lunch wasn't so bad and so was Kira.
