The next day, I woke up late. Not that I cared because it was Sunday. I always slept in on Sundays, I mean who didn't? I took a glance on my clock. It was 09.30. I groaned and sat up.

I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. I recalled the date yesterday. I couldn't believe I kissed Mike on our first date! I kissed a lot of guys, but never on first date. I guessed he was different then.

Hailey was right. Maybe I could give him a chance. It wasn't high school anymore and I'm practically an adult so, I thought I should act like an adult.
I headed to the kitchen after shower. I saw Brian was flipping pancakes and Ethan was reading the newspaper.

"Morning, sleepy head", Brian grinned.

"Morning", I said with dull face.

"So, how was your date?", he asked as he placed a plate of pancakes in front of me.

"It was just fine", I said , grabbing the fork and ate my pancakes.

"Really?", he asked, lifting his brows.

"What do you want me to say?", I asked, annoyed.

"Fine, geez. You're so grumpy", he said amused.

I rolled my eyes and continued eating my breakfast. I didn't realize that Ethan was still quite with the paper in his hands. He didn't even say hi to me. Go get yourself, Linda. I scolded myself.

"So,...",Brian started.

I looked at him. "So what?"

"Kira's coming today"

I furrowed my brows. "You mean Kira as your girlfriend Kira?"

He nodded. His grinned wider. "She'll be here for lunch. So, I expect you to be here too"

"Well, I don't know...",

"Come on, Lin. I want you to meet her. She's great and funny. You'll love her", he begged. "Please? For me?", he did the puppy dog face.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine". I took my plate and washed it in the sink. With that, I went back to my room.

It was around 12.00 and I heard a girl's voice near the living room. I was still in my room, messing with my laptop. I opened the door a little so I could hear them.

"It's good to see you, Kira", I heard Ethan's voice.

"Ah, you too Ethan", the girl replied. "So, where's your sister?", she asked in enthusiasm.

I heard Brian groaned. "I've told her you'll be coming today. Just wait here". I could hear Brian's footsteps coming so I closed the door room and got up on the bed, pretending to sleep.

Right I was covering my face with the blanket, the door opened. He sat on my bedside and shaking my shoulder. "Hey, Kira's here. Get up", he said and he pulled my blanket away from my face. I groaned and glared at him.

"Come on. She's here now and she wants to meet you. Brush your hair", he said and left my room.

I frowned but got up anyway. I brushed my hair and checked myself once again before went out.

I tried not being a bitch this time because I was about to meet Brian's girlfriend and I didn't want her to give me bad impression.

They were all chatting and laughing in the living room. They stopped when they saw me. The girl, Kira got up from her seat beside my brother and smiled at me.

She has a wavy brown hair, with gray eyes, oval shaped face and full lips. She was absolutely gorgeous of course my brother loved her. She was also taller than me which made her looked great with my brother.
