「c h a p t e r - f o u r」

old friend?!

You ran into the classroom 1-1, leaving Haru behind. Haru came in and it wasn't hard for him to find his seat. 

When you found your's you frowned. "Dang it...," you muttered under your breath. 

It was the fourth from the windows in the front. Right in front of where the teacher would be. You sighed and plopped yourself onto the seat. You put your hands under your chin and sat in silence while chatter was around the room.

There was a boy with messy red hair going around asking boys the same question as the last. "Hey. hey. Do you want to join the swimming club?"

"No, I'm...-"

"Eh, it'll be fine. Let's swim together!" the redhead pleaded. "Or did you already decide to join another club?"

You were looking at the whole thing. 

The brunette boy shook his head. "Not yet."

Drawing your attention from them. You seen Haru. His mouth was a little bit open when he realized the redhead was being glared at by a boy in the front with green-ish hair. He gritted his teeth but then realized Haru was looking at him. They shared poker faces until the boy slightly frowned and slowly turned back forward. 

"Are you Nanase Haruka-kun?" a pinkette boy approached Haru and asked. Haru looked startled but the pinkette continued on, " I'm Shigino Kisumi! I went to Sano elementary school, you know?" 

Your ears practically perked up. It's Kisumi-kun!! You went to Sano elementary school, and Kisumi was in all your classes. 

"I heard about you from Matsuoka Rin!" Kisumi stated.

Rin!! I knew Rin, but I never heard him talk about Haru...

"From Rin?" Haru asked dumbfounded.

Kisumi continued, "He said there was an amazingly fast guy at Iwatobi Swimming Club!"

And that got that redhead's attention. "'Swimming Club?'" He walked over to the two and said Haru, "You go to a SC!"

Kisumi puckered hid lips and asked "SC?"

Swimming club, baka Kisumi, you thought.

"That's short for 'Swimming Club.' I'm Shiina Asahi," he said. "Umm... Nanase. You're definitely going to join the school's swimming club, aren't you? Right?"

"I haven't decided yet," Haru simply said. 

You could tell Asaki felt shocked.

"Eh? You haven't...?" Kisumi asked. "Then would you like to join the basketball club with me?"

"Hey! Just don't butt in. Join the swimming club! OK?" 

The 'front boy' turned to look back at the three talking.

"If you're already a member of a swimming club then you don't need to swim even more do you?" Kisumi asked. 

Now the 'front boy' looked irritated. He swung his head to the front so no one noticed he was looking at them. 

"So join the basketball one!" 

But Haru noticed him looking. 

"Shut up!"
