dolphin charm...

To yourself, you were the last kid to go to the board. But maybe not. You always thought small was big so you never thought any different. There were still some kids coming out and you decided to go in the back of the group.

Being how short you are, you struggled to see the board. Maybe you should've stayed where you were. But then again, it'd be packed together. There was a black-haired boy next to you doing the same. But his taller friend helped him. 

After some, you mustered up the courage to ask the black-haired boy's friend to help you. 

You walked over and tugged on his sleeve, his shoulder being too hard to correctly tap him.

"Excuse me?"

He looked behind him to see your face and he smiled. "Yes?"

"Um... I can't see that board up front, may you find mine?" you asked fidgeting too much.

"Sure! What's your name?" 

You looked up at him. "(L/n) (F/n)," you quickly stated. 

He looked up at the board then turned to you. "You're in the same class as Haru, Class 1!"

You tilted your head a little and asked, "Who's Haru?"

But before you could get an answer, some started talking to the boy that helped you, or Tachibana. The black-haired boy started walking away. 

"Ah! Wait Haru...!" Tachibana called after Haru but he kept walking. You ran after Haru hoping you could talk.

"Please wait, Haru-kun!" you called after him. Haru stopped but didn't turn around. 

You stopped running and bent on your knees to catch your breath. "Please... wait." Because you had your hand out in front of Haru he asked,

"What's that?"

You looked at him and tilted your head. "Huh? My... bracelet...?" 

He nodded at you. 

"Oh! Well it's a charm bracelet. Here's a rose-"

Haru interrupted,"No." He pointed to the row with animals. "What are these?"

You were taken aback a bit. "Well, here's a seal, dolphin, butterfly, whale, penguin, angelfish, shark, and... a turtle!"

Haru seemed to be staring at the dolphin charm for a while. So you took off the dolphin charm and took Haru's hand, opened it, placed the charm in his palm, then closed it. "You can have it since you're admiring it so much. Maybe tomorrow I can give you a chain for it. How does that sound?"

Haru nodded and you both starting walking.

 I made a friend!!
