You walked alongside Aoki. Aoki had dark blue hair that framed his face with cyan eyes and pale skin. People couldn't decide if you both looked alike or not. Your personalities were different. Aoki was a happy-go-lucky kid and he always made friends. When he would have the time he'd spend it on you. He'd tell stories about things that happened in swimming. Though Aoki would sometimes repeat the stories he said a while ago, it didn't bother you. 

The good thing was, Aoki only hangs with his friends at school or at swim. Different friends from swim and then different ones from school, being that Aoki swims for some other school. 

"So Bell. What are you going to do first when you get to the school?" Aoki asked you, with his hands behind his head not looking at you.

You still gave him a poker face even if he couldn't see it. "Are you serious?"

"What?!"

You sighed. "I have that ceremony thingy, remember?" you asked him while playing with your bracelet. 

"Oh yeah. Sorry-..."

Then there was silence. You looked up to your right and gave Aoki a questionable look. "Aocchin?"

"...look, Shiru," he said while pointing at the cherry blossoms all around you two.

Your mouth slowly opened a little bit at the beauty around you. You gasped and then grinned. "Bet you can't beat me to the school, Aocchin!"

You started running away and your brother followed after chuckling lightly. "You're on!"

After a little while of running, you both stopped with you in front. 

"Hey Shiru. Let's take a break real quick. We did leave home early," Aoki offered. 

You stretched and agreed. "Sure, sure."

You sat down on the boulder Aoki was sitting on. There was silence for as long as a minute until........

 Aoki. 

He chuckled once gaining your attention. "Huh?"

"Do you remember how you got your nicknames from me?" he asked smiling at the ground before him.

You shook your head. "Uh-uh."

"Well Shiru was first. Shiru means seal. At first I wanted to call you Iruka (dolphin) but Shiru seemed more fitting somehow. Here are reasons; you preferred to swim in winter than summer. You're more flexible and agile than anyone I know, that including the big-times like Olympics. And you'll be the only seal I know," he explained adding a big closed-eye smile to you.

You looked back at him and blinked. "Wait. Aren't seals here extinct, Aocchin?"

"Mm hmm! That's why you're the only seal I know. Anyway, next one. Next one is Divin'-Bell or Bell. You know that one right? That time you stayed underwater for twenty-two minutes, holding your breath?" 

You hesitated before nodding. So that's why...

You had been calling yourself "Bell" for the longest time, yet you haven't thought what it meant.

"C'mon, Shiru. We gotta get to school. Race ya!"
