I don't know where I am, or how long it has been.
Am I even alive?
I drift in and out of blackness. I hear sounds but I feel nothing. Which is good because I'm sure bullets hurt like hell.
Is this death?
No, it can't be this dull.
A voice breaks through the echoes of other noises.
It is just barely a whisper, but my ears are programmed to hear her voice.
Don't die please. I love you, come back to me.
My weak heart races, hearing these words from her mouth.
If this is death, I'll gladly take it.
