Eight- Prayer of the Blinded

Aaliyah the Blinded, who she had now called herself, who had turned and spoke in bitterness towards her brothers who protested against that name :

I have forsaken the Creator; that in times of darkness I turned and hid my face, that rejected her Sight.

And without Sight I am cast to the darkness; I had been Chosen, but I left it to rot in the streams as carrion.

My soul is crying out to be healed, and it will be done so, when I breathe my final; that She has promised to take me to the Returning Place, for She is merciful.

But as I continue I pray my days passing to be lenient, for I wish to, at my last, guide the Chosen;

She is here; as the Creator has whispered, and I feel Her presence stirring within me;

I yearn for it; it gnaws within me as hunger, and unquenchable as thirst; it is fire that burns in my throat and make my limbs strain in desperation, for She is the Awaited One.

But let us not haste, for She controls Time itself, and fully will she make ready her favoured One; and we shall wait with her;

Should I be weary of the run, she will support me, so that I shall not break; for She fulfils all promises, as such She has made to me.

I APOLOGIZE. AGAIN. I STRAYED OFF COURSE AND GOT TOO HAPPY WRITING ABOUT THAT PRAYER. XD Also the italics. Can't seem to control it on the iMac.
