Five- Shadows of the Broken One

Aapeli was breath for nine thousand one hundred and ninety moons, and Xylia, nine thousand and one hundred.

Her death that came as Aaliyah counted her days, and she was lain in the shadows of twilight, and of the blackness that came after; for She grieved too, and hid her face behind the veil.

And the One was broken, the bond that was ripped and tossed away to the deathly winds, silence as Aapeli threw back his head in agony as the darkness consumed him; that his soul was eaten into nothingness;

That he was away, and no more to do with his brothers, for he did not recognize them; and they feared and dared not go after, that he snarled and sprang at their throats;

He had become nothing more than the hunting and the killed.

Ninety moons, and the earth was torn; the wind that howled and the skies that trembled with the resonance of the loss; She that also turned away from his wrath, and Aaliyah was blinded;

That she cried out in her helplessness, towards the Creator that now was drawn back into bleakness:

Why, that we suffer so much; that even You have thrown me into the abyss;

He is One, but no more he leads; that he has destroyed the bonds by his very fangs;

the threads that were snipped when he sprang at our throats; that is proof he is now Death itself;

I have lost Sight; even my brothers have to lead me in my steps;

What have we done, that we have to suffer so?

(I'm in such a hurry to publish this, so I'm sorry this is suck sucky sucky I'll try to wrap the ending up later on.)
