It's funny how we never know what decisions are going to dictate our lives. Deciding where you're going to eat lunch could just as easily alter the course of your entire existence as picking a college or finding a job could.
We also never know when or where these life changing events are going to occur. Will you fall in the supermarket and slip into a coma? Will you get discovered by a big time movie producer at an IHOP?
I had never thought much about the grand scheme of things. I was never very curious about the meaning of life, or where I fit into this world. I was just me, plain old Henley Baker.
So waking up that morning, September 8, 2015, I never dreamed that this particular day would be the start of a life-altering series of events.
