Rydel's P.O.V

"Um.. Well I guess we could play a song then announce our engagement" I said while staring down at the beautiful diamond ring on my finger.

"Alrighty, sounds like a plan" he said.

We finished our food, and went out to the car, Ratliff insisted on paying. It was like $100 for one dinner!

We got into the car, he started driving. "Where to now?" I asked.

"A fancy dinner and there's more?" I said while smiling.

"Only the best for you" he said

"Awe, your so sweet" I said while kissing his cheek. I couldn't ask for a better fiancé. I just love him soooo much.

We pulled up at the town square. I looked confused. What are we doing here?

He smiled and opened the door for me.

There was Christmas music playing outside and a lot of Christmas lights everywhere, plus a huge Christmas tree.

We started walking straight to the big Christmas tree.

"What in the world Ellington" I began.

Then as we got closer I could see a ice skating rink behind the tree.

He smiled, "awesome right"

I chuckled, "yes!" I squealed of excitement.

We got to the rink and we got some skates. I didn't really skate that well, but I still could.

"This should be interesting, considering your from Colorado and you must be used to this, and I live in California!" He said we both laughed.

"Does that mean you can't skate" I asked while laughing

"I guess we'll find out" he laughed wile we both finished tying our skates and entered.

Ratliff held on too me.

"Come on, I'll teach you" I said while holding his hand.

"Teach me? Pfft what I'm a pro at this" he said

I laughed.

"Ok then" I said while letting go if him.

"What? No!" He said while falling on the ground.

I started laughing really hard.

"Still want me to teach you" I asked while holding out my hand for him to get up.

"Yess.." He said

I giggled,

"Okay you just have to move your feet like this" I said while Demond straight ing.

Then he copied what I did.

I smiled, "there you go!"

"I think I got this" he said

I looked at him, he smiled "for real this time" we both laughed.

"Ok come on" I said

Then we held hands and started skating together. It was so magical.

"Haha! I can skate now!" He said. I smiled at his silliness.

We started fooling around and he started chasing me. I laughed, he final caught me.

"I got you!" He said while laughing and he grabbed me and started spinning me around.

We laughed, then he put me down, we were about to kiss when I felt something on my hair, he must have felt it too, because he looked up

As I did.

I saw white flakes falling from the sky. It's snowing!

I gasped and held out my hand while one fell on my hand and melted.

"Wow snow in Cali? It's a Christmas miracle!" He laughed.

I laughed, then wrapped my arms around him while he had his hands on my waist.

We kept twirling in circles on the ice while it snowed.

Then we kissed. It was like a fairy tale book.

Then I heard a click we pulled away and both looked at the person behind us.

"Sorry, I just had to take a picture of you too. Y'all are such a sweet couple!" She said while a picture of us came out of her old camera.

"Here" she said while handing us our picture.

"Um thank you?" I said while taking the picture.

"Your welcome" she chuckled then left.

I looked down at the picture.

Ratliff chuckled,"that was kinda weird"

"Yeah" I said

"Look" I said while handing him the picture.

"Oh! We do look really cute!" He said

I laughed,"yeah,it's the perfect picture" I said.

It showed his hands around my waist and my hands around his neck kissing, in the ice skating rink, while it snowed. Literally the perfect picture.

Then Ellington took out his phone and took a picture of our picture.

I laughed at him,"what are you doing"

After he took the picture he put his phone away and handed me the photo.

"What,it's just so beautiful." He said in a girly voice. I giggled.

It was dark out already, it was probably around 8:00 p.m.

"Come on" he said while we skated to the exit of the rink.

We Took off our skates and put our shoes on.

"That was really fun" I said while we had our arms rapped around each other.

He smiled "glad you liked it honey"

Then he kissed my cheek.

We drove back to our hotel, Ellington unlocked our door.

"Home sweet home" he joked

We both took our shoes off.

"I'm gonna go change" I said while grabbing my bag and heading for the bathroom.

"Okay" he said

I put on my PJs, basically pink pants that said "pink" on it and a Hollister sweatshirt.

I washed my face, then put a little lip balm on.

I opened the door, to a already in PJs Ellington.

He had grey sweats and a green tee-shirt.

He was lying on the bed, the tv was on.

I put my bag down and went to the bed and snuggled with him under the covers ;D

I was watching the news, and Ellington was on his phone, with one arm around me.

All of a sudden, I hear my phone ring from the nightstand next to the bed.

I grab it and read the caller contact and the moment I've been dreading. I read,
