Kinda date

Off limits chapter 6
The next day I slowly rolled out of bed. I sat on my bed and was about to fall back down when May walked in.
"Hey Belle, I made some pancakes" she said opening my shades.
I nodded and got up. When she left I got dressed and walked downstairs.
"You go ahead Tony. I'm waiting for Belle" Jack said
"But Jack. Cmon I've always walked you to school" Tony said
I took the last step and was in their field a vision
"Speaking of the devil" Tony said and left
"Sorry..." I said and grabbed a pancake for on the go breakfast
"It's okay. We still have half an hour to head to school"
We ate at the table and headed out the door.
"Belle! Belle!" Dan said running towards us as we entered the school
"See you after school" Jack said
"Hey" I said and walked towards him
"What's your first class?" He asked
"Advanced digital tech lab" I told him
"Okay, I have it too. Nice dress" he told me
I looked down. It was my marvel dress that I was sleepy enough I forgot what I was wearing.
"Thanks. I love super heroes" I told him
"Have you watched Flash?" He asked as we walked into class
"Yeah, but some things are wrong like quantum physics" I started
"Yes! I've been looking for someone who gets me!" Dan screamed as we sat down
We talked about Flash, spiderman, captain America and daredevil. He tried to start talking about Jessica Jones but I put my hands over his mouth when he almost spoiled the show. At the end of class he helped me to Photography class. Then lunch came around. I found Jack and ate with him and his friends.
"Where do you come from?" One of his friends asked
"Oregon, it's that one state above California" I told him
"Isn't that the place Gravity Falls takes place?" Another asked
I nodded and took a bite of my sandwich. I looked over outside to see Chandler with some of his friends. He looked over and waved at me, I waved back and got back to my food.
"Aww you guys are so cute together" Riley said, Jacks girlfriend said, the others were busy talking to eachother
"Yeah...no boyfriend please" I told her
"Why not?" She asked
"Why not what?" Jack asked turning to her
"Nothing..." I said and continued to eat in silence. Once the bell rang I walked over to my next class, creative writing. I walked in did class as all the others. It seemed like being the new girl was becoming a routine of being reintroduced over and over.
We were writing poems...I decided to just turn in my poems from last year, I just hated poetry. It was hard for me to write down my feelings on a piece of paper. It was easier to write about the story of another person. Their emotions, their story, their adventure. Poetry was too intimate to me. I sat by a boy I recognized from band. I sat and went straight to tumblr reading imagines about Peter Parker and Steve Rogers. Then somehow wondered into the Carl grimes imagines and somewhat into Chandler's.
"Isabelle you should be working on your poems" the teacher said
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I needed some inspiration." I told her, BS-ing my way.
"Okay, well don't take too long" the teacher said with a smirk
I started again reading. But I went back to Peter Parker imagines. It was about the reader being the daughter of Steve Rogers. After class I walked to my last period,  French. When school ended I went straight to the front to wait for Jack. There I saw Chandler.
"Hey, where's your brothers?" Chandler asked
"Step brothers, and I'm waiting for Jack. I don't know about Tony" I told him
"Good, I'm kinda pissed at Tony" Chandler said and sat next to me
"Why?" I asked
"He told me something really stupid, I just need a break from him. We were supposed to be go watch 'Ant-Man' on tonight wanna come instead?" Chandler asked
"I always wanted to watch Ant-Man I was supposed to watch it with my friends back home" I said, mindlessly talking.
"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7?" Chandler said
Then it hit me...did I?
What did I...?
Why did I?
"Uh yeah" I said
WHY AM I CONTINUING!?
Jack then walked over with his girlfriend. Chandler walked off to talk to someone. I silently followed Jack and Riley. They both looked back to see if I was alright. I just had the same expression all the way home. I got to my desk and went to edit videos until 5 when my friends starting texting me...well texting in the group chat. I was just in there still even though they mostly talk about homework.
Val: does anyone have the answer for 104?
Ella: uh yeah, 63
Me: can I talk to all of you? I need help for a kinda date not a date
John: what does that supposed to mean?
Val: yeah, you can talk to me
Ella: same
Alice: me too
Jackie: I GOTCHU
Tabby: You got me
John: yeah, but seriously what is a kinda date not a date?
Kat: count me in
Amy: I'm in
I opened skype and put a group chat and entered everyone in.
"WHAT IS A KINDA DATE!?" John asked as we entered in
"So, I'm going to the movies with this guy. It's not really a date but I like him. But here's the thing...my step brother forbids me from dating him" I told them
"Never mind him. Anyways what are you guys doing?" Any asked
"So he bought tickets for Ant-Man and he invited me. I need help with an outfit. Also how to act." I said
"Hun your asking us. Only like 2 of us have dated someone. And those two dated eachother" Tabby sassed
"Hey! We don't talk about that anymore!" Jackie screamed
"It was middle school guys" John said
"It's more than any of us have gotten with anyone" I said
"We never even went on a date so far you might be getting further than any of us" Jackie told me
"Just help me...okay" I said
"You should wear that black dress you wore for graduation last year" Val said
"What did you graduate from?" Amy asked
"She didn't graduate from anything Amy. We played for the graduation" Alice explained
"Okay, but how to act?" I asked
"Just be you girl. But you know your hyper happy you not your depressed sad you." John said
"We don't talk about that year" I said
"Also just be your down to earth self. Don't be too sassy though" Ella said
"Got it. So how's life in Oregon going?" I asked
"Nothing new. Pretty much all the same."!Val said
"Really? I still wish I was there. I miss you guys" I said
"we miss you too, now get ready for that kinda date" Ella said
I hanged up and put on my dress and put on a jean jacket over it. Picked up my purse and walked downstairs
"Woah where are you going dressed like that?" Tony asked
"None of your business" I sassed and was about to walk out the door
"But it is mine" my dad said
"Shit, I forgot to tell you. I'm going to watch a movie with a friend. Hope it's okay" I said
"Yes, but ask me next time" he said
"Thank you daddy" I said and hugged him, I ran out before Tony could question anything. I walked over to Chandler's house and knocked
"Oh hello, you must be Ryan's kid. Belle right?" Chandlers mom said...I assumed because I follow her Instagram.
"Yes, I came over because Chandler and I are supposed to go watch Ant-Man" I said
"He's in his room. I can take you there." She said and let me in.
I followed her to Chandler's.
"Chandler are you decent?" His mom said
"Uh yeah" he said and opened the door "hey Belle, I'm supposed to pick you up"
"Yeah I know, Tony's at the house though so I thought it would be awkward just walking out with you." I told him
"Good point, cmon lets go" he said and took my hand.
