What does family mean to you?

I have 4 sisters and a brother. The first was Ceinwen, the second was Siwan, third was Helen, fourth was me, fifth was Mari and sixth was Dylan. I know not of the others names, my other brothers. Ceinwen, a highly successful law student training for a masters degree. Helen, training to become a teacher, I am Pursuing a career as a photographer, Mari is aiming to be a soldier in the army and Dylan is a talented child who is unsure of what his future goals are going to be. Siwan was and still is my sister, she would have been 17 years of age this January. Unfortunately she was still born, In my village lies her grave which I pay my respects to everyday. I tell her my secrets, my achievements and my failures. Siwan means more to me than some people ever will. She may not be here today, but on her grave it says a poetic phrase "sent to bud on earth, and bloom in heaven." These words have followed me through thick and thin and different things effect different people in different ways. Death is seen as a negative thing that will happen to everyone at some point, but Siwan's death has only encouraged and motivated me in life. I see it this way, if Siwan was alive would she want to see me ruin my life and be depressed all the time or would she rather me to make something of my life and live my life for not just myself but in remembrance of her seconds on earth. Everyone will have lost someone at some point in their lives I'm sure of it, but take my words with you. When life gets rough don't say why me, say try me. Deal with everything face on with confidence and not fear. Death to me is a lesson just as is failure, learn from life don't ignore it. Problems won't go unless you force them to. When you get home don't argue with your family , cherish everything they have given you and everything you have to give to the world in the future.
