Chapter 13:-

“Are you okay? Are you comfortable? Do you need anything?” Kate asks, fussing over me as I lie next to Nathan in his bed. “I’m fine thank you” I reply, it’s been a day since I’ve come back to the house. There was paparazzi all over Nathan’s ‘mystery girlfriend’ and the charges that had been pressed. Nathan told me that Bailey kicked Jamie out of the house once she found out what he did. Kate leaves with a quick nod and heads to her bedroom with David. “Such a fuss” I laugh lightly,

“You’re worth making a fuss about” Nathan says sincerely, pulling me into him.

“When did you get so romantic?”

“Dunno, just did. We have school tomorrow” he smirks.

“Do I have to go? Can’t I stay here?” I beg with the cutest puppy dog eyes I can manage.

“Yes you have to go, your friends are worried about you”

“I have two friends, they can text me”

“And we’ve missed out on a lot. C’mon, it won’t be that bad. I promise”

“It might be, like what if I get hit by a bus. Or someone brings a gun into school, or I lose my virginity to some creep” I laugh.

“You already lost your virginity” he says, matter of fact.

“And look what happened after that, I end up in hospital” I tease.

“A while after that” he says, kissing the top of my head. I giggle lightly and wince as my head starts to hurt. “Are you alright?” Nathan asks, somehow knowing.

“My head hurts a little” I reply, he gently lifts me off of him and heads to the coffee table to get my meds and then to the bathroom to get a glass of water for me. “Here gorgeous” he smirks, handing me my pills. I swallow them down quickly and then pat the spot next to me on the bed, he shakes his head and smiles at me. “Would love to babe but I have to go, out. I’ll be home later, rest up” he kisses my quickly on the head before walking out the room. With a sigh I close my eyes and fall asleep quickly.

NATHAN’S POV

“Hey man, sup?” Robert greets me from the front of the club, dressed as the bouncer.

“Colardo! Long-time no see, think you can get me in?” I ask, grabbing his hand and pulling him closer to me while patting his back, the typical guy handshake. “Anything for an old friend, go straight in” he says, smiling and pulling away the red velvet rope. I smirk and walk through the old wooden door, into the newly furnished club, multi coloured laser lights flash around with the upbeat techno music. Girls instantly spot me, stalking forward like a cougar hunting its prey. “Hey ladies” I smile easily and they all wink at me and giggle. Why are you doing this? You have a perfectly good girl at home, one you said you love. “Shut up, she won’t know” I say to myself. A cute blonde walks over with purple eyes, contacts. “Hey hot stuff” she smiles and I wink

“Hey gorgeous, can I buy you a drink?” I offer, she nods and takes my hand as I lead her to the bar.

“What can I get ya’s? The bartender asks over the music, I turn to the bubbly blonde and she smiles brightly. “A cosmos” she yells, the bartender nods knowingly and turns to me but I shake my head. Wanting to stay in control tonight, so I don’t do anything stupid to get myself in the paper. “What’s your name?” I ask, she turns to me with a smile.
