Daaron| First Story

|| Dante's POV ||

"Dante fucking pay attention" Garroth yells before I quickly turn around to catch a baseball he threw at me at the last second. "Sorry....Captian" I said a little out of it, I throw the ball back in Garroth's direction but way over his head so it will go flying and so he would have to go take time to get it. "Really? Again? Huh be right back" Garroth says disappearing to go get the ball. I turn back in the direction back at the thing distracting me. Aaron. He is my Bff, probably one of my only friends beside Travis. Aaron usually drives me home even on days I have baseball practice which I always insist he just go home but he always says its no big deal and watches me which kinda makes me nervous, he usually sits on the bench watching me the whole time but right now I guess he saw Aphmau walking out and went over to talk to her. They been talking non stop for 10 minutes, I don't know why but this is making me feel like my head is bubbling and I feel super angry. Why is he talking to her? Are they dating? What are they talking about? Why isn't he paying attention to me? What? Why am I wondering all this, why am I being weird I'm his Bff but...I don't know why this is making my heart ache.

"DANTE!"
Garroth yells before I turn my head and my face meets a fast baseball, it hits me in between eyes. The pain is so overwhelming I couldn't stand and the next thing I knew I was falling and everything was going black.

~• Time Skip •~

I open my eyes to my bedroom's ceiling, I know its mine cause it has a poster of the 1960's Yankees baseball team that I bought and hung up when I was 12 is there, I sit up confused and my head aching. "Ugh, what happened" I look down and see I'm in my long blue plaid PJ pants and no shirt like I usually wear, "don't seat up too fast, you have an concussion" a familiar voice said beside me scaring me. I look to see Aaron staring at me with a death stare,he pulled my desk chair next to my bed and was sitting there. Was he sitting there watching me sleep? As I think that I felt my face burn,"what are you doing here and why do you look like you wanna kill me?" I said kinda of scared. He sighs before leaning over to my nightstand and grab some pills & a water bottle and held it out to me. I grab them both with hesitation "what is this?" I said studying the two pills, "the coach says you have had a concussion before, these are the pills your mom got for you two months ago for your other concussion" he said kinda annoyed "oh ya, I forgot haha I'm clumsy" I said awkwardly laughing before taking the medicine and gulping it down with water. "Dante...what were looking at when you weren't looking at the baseball" Aaron said bluntly giving me this weird glare. It was weird for him to be angered easy, in our friendship I hardly seen a lot emotions from him he is usually a level headed guy. "Um Aaron your kinda of-" "Dante, what were you looking at? " he said more stern and as he does everything inside me froze and I felt so scared of what he may do. "You.... You and Aphmau. Okay? Leave me alone" I said said feeling my face burn in frustration. I quickly laid back down flipping over so my back was facing him. I felt tears fill my eyes and my face burn and I don't know why this is was all happening? Is it fever? Concussion? The fact I'm head over heels in love with Aaron? Wait. What?!
Why am I thinking that! I don't love him! He is my Bff! He has always been the guy to be there for me! To make me laugh! To hold me while I cried...be there for me everyday. Oh my Irene am I in love with my MALE Bff Aaron! That's so gross! Is it?
Tears rolled my face and I curled up in a ball and gripped my hand tight in my hair cause my head was aching.
"Dante" Aaron said calmly.
I didn't replied I just wanted him gone, "Dante, do you love me?" My heart pounded when he said that. I shot up and looked at him while yelling all flustered like "N-No!"
"No?" He repeated sounding like he didn't believe me. "I...I don't know I may have feelings for you and if I do love you I'm just figuring it out now.." I said looking down at my feet everything in my body hurts but I couldn't help but spill the truth to him. He said nothing "look I'm sorry I don't know why all this is happening but just pret-" and before I could finish Aaron cut me off by grabbing the back of my neck and pulling me into him to lock me into a deep, passionate kiss. "A-Aaron?" I said pulling back from the kiss. "Shut up and give me a chance"
