"Good day Dionise."

"What are you doing here Orlando, I am working?"

"I felt pretty bad about the other day and how I acted."

"You should have" she snapped.

"Wait, Dionise let me explain."

Dottie turned her chair around to look at Orlando in his eyes.

"Explain what Orlando, what do you have to say?"

"I have some information about Bethany, the only problem is that I was afraid to say something; promise me that you won't say anything to anyone about what I am going to say. Allow me to tell it for myself."

Dottie was anxious to hear what Orlando had to say about Bethany; so she agreed not to say anything... for now.

"You remember the night at the bar; well I was sitting in my car waiting for Bethany to step out the door so that I could talk to her in a more private matter. My heart was pounding so hard when I seen her; I had to calm myself before I had a heart attack or something. You went in the other direction heading to your car, I called out Bethany's name, and she came to me. She was so beautiful to me; I had to get her number and address. Anyway, Bethany got into my car with me and we had a emotional conversation. Well after Bethany got out of my car, she walked back to her vehicle and left. I sat there in the parking lot in awe because I had just got the information of the most exquisite girl I have ever seen."

"Look Orlando, get to the damn point; my girl is out there somewhere and everyone is looking for her. You know she has been missing for four days now. Her boss thinks that she walked out on her job and now he is contemplating on waiving her check for this pay period."

"Don't interrupt me; I am telling you exactly what went down. I was on my way home and I came to a red light that is when I noticed that Bethany left her jacket in my car. I turned around and drove up the road as fast as I could to catch up with her. I did not see her vehicle anywhere, so I took out the paper she wrote her address and telephone number on and decided to go to her house."

"Sounds like stalking to me" Dottie snapped.

"By the time I got to Bethany's house, I saw her talking to a dude outside. Curious about whom he was, I turned off my headlights and watched them. I got a little bit angry because Bethany and I just discussed how we were going to move forwarded into a relationship. The guy kept walking around her and when the guy came into the light, I saw his face; that's when I noticed it was the dude from the bar."

"Hold up, what did this guy look like?" she questioned.

"He was wearing a leather brown jacket, blue jean pants with a khaki and blue striped shirt."

"That was Mason" Dottie yelled.

"Oh boy was pretty pathetic; I could not hear everything they were saying, but he was begging Bethany to take a ride with him. She did not want to go but he got down on his knees and started to cry or something. Bethany turned and ran into the house, she was in there for a while. I hung around because he stood there in front of the house; I was wondering why he was still there since she went in the house. I was getting ready to get out of my car and confront him about Bethany and that is when she came back out the house."

"Go on, what else happened? She said.

"They took off heading south and I followed them; he punched the pedal going at least 70 mph. I tried to stay back some but he was moving so fast. I had to keep up just in case he made a turn. By the time they made it to the winding roads, that is when I had to slow down; I almost drove off the road."

"Oh my; this is disturbing" She said.

"To my surprise, when I got to the last curve in the road, I saw the car bent up and crushed to pieces on the ground. I got out my car and that is when I seen the dude limping around holding his leg. Bethany was laying in the car and she was not moving at all. I saw the blood all over her and I went over to check her out and see how much damage was done."

"What!" Dottie began to sob.

"I was furious; the woman whom I wanted to get to know better was lying there unconscious. I was so angry that I went over to the guy and started beating him down. I did not care about his minor injuries because the woman I loved was laying in the car banged up pretty bad. He tried to run but I caught him and kept on kicking and hitting him until he fell out. I pulled him back to the car and I tried to wake Bethany; but she was not responding, so I dragged him by his jacket while driving down the road on the back of my car."

"You did what?" She covered her mouth.

"I was afraid to call the police because I had touched Bethany and I got her blood all over me. I did not want the blame placed on me for this terrible accident; also knowing what I did to oh boy. I was sure to be put in jail for assault and battery with another sentence for attempt murder. Later on I finally got the courage to go back and do what was right; that's when I noticed that Bethany was not in the car anymore. I did not know if she was taken away by someone trying to help her so I turned around and went back home."

Before Dottie could say anything else, she got on the telephone and called Bethany mother with the news she just received. Searching the offices, she found the doctor.

"Dr. Dellia, I am so sorry but I have to go because I just found some important information about my best friend who is missing. This is an family emergency; please don't hold this against me" she begged.

"I will be fine; good luck with everything and we can talk later" Dr. Dellia said.

She snatched Orlando by his coat and pulled him out of the office.
