"You don't need to go through those memories again for me"

"No buts. You lost someone and it must have meant so much for you to see them smile everyday. And now they are dead and you are lost and oh god, I'll cry"
"Hey, don't"
"No. Crying is good. You must cry too"
"A hamster died"
"Crying helps so much. It relieves you of the bur-wait. A what?!"
"A hamster"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because you didn't let me"
"And why did you listen to me"
"Because you should always listen to your elders, Aunt Flo"
"Oh no, you didn't"
"I don't feel as sad"
"But a cute hamster just oh-I'll cry in a corner now"
"It was my six year old cousin's turn to take care of the hamster. Leaving it out in the sun wasn't the best option with all those harmful lawn tools"
"No.No.No. That is horrific"
"Not as much"
"And you didn't cry?"
"No..?"
"You are heartless and vile and I just-"
"Flo, I feel sad - ok, maybe not as sad but you know"
