Walking into a bar full of angels?

I've done it before, yes.

But a bar that is sure of no human activity what so ever is so much different. Back on earth, I walk into an Angelic bar and everyone turns because they can detect me from a mile a way. I walk into this bar and literally only four people turned. I was grateful, yes, because that meant no one knew I was here in this world for certain.

I ignored the few stares, walked right up to two empty seats at the bar and sat down. The bar was filled with smoke and a bitter smell of some kind of alcohol.

Because this was the world in between, there were literally only a handful of blonde Pure's in here. Most of them were black haired. Most men walked around topless, showing their mark wherever it was situated on their body. Some wore shorts and shirts showing them off on their legs, and some were completely covered, probably not interested in showing off their marks.

'Can you say creepy?' Bonnie thought as she sat beside me.

A few people glanced at her. Mind readers.

"You're going to have to be careful what you think now," I mumbled to her. "I'm not the only mind reader in here."

"Oh I know." She said with a small smirk. "I just wanted to distinguish which ones were and weren't."

I chuckled. "Smart,"

"What can I get you two?" A man with a large Mark all over his arm that circled around his shoulder.

"Anything strong...?" I asked hesitantly.

"Nothing for me." Bonnie waved her hand dismissively.

He smiled at us and walked away.

"Lon."

I looked at Bonnie and then back at the bartender as he handed me a scotch glass with dark red liquid in it.

"Lonny,"

"Yeah, Bon?"

She grabbed the glass from my hand and put it behind her. "I think you should give Cameron a chance to explain himself before you drink yourself to nothing."

I narrowed my eyes at her. "When do I ever drink?"

"Never mind that. You didn't give him a chance to explain himself."

"I should have known you were all pressed up against the door." I tried to lean around her to take it but she leaned forward to stop me.

"You said you hated him." She gave me a disapproving look. "Listen to me, I am older than you."

"Ha!" I scoffed. "Appearance wise, yes. I've got over two thousand years on you, honey."

She grinned; the small dimple in her right cheek making her look even younger than her actual appearance. "Well, I have two appearance years on you. Talk to him. You're being too harsh."

"Yeah, well... I liked you better as a wolf." I mumbled.

She laughed. "Well, I didn't. Four legs aren't fun." But then she frowned. "I think we should leave. We should give you time to think about him being here with us because you haven't had any time at all to actually sit down and take in the idea of him being here. We won't be separated from him for a while. You need to think about coming onto friendly terms with him."
