Unexpected Turns

Rydel's P.O.V

I screamed. It all happened so fast.

They were on the floor, Riker beating Ellington.

"RIKER!" I screamed

"STOP!!" I screamed I tryed pulling him off him, it didn't help though.

"HELP!" Rocky and Ryland came running in.

"Oh my gosh, Riker!" Rocky said

"Dude come on" Ryland said

They pulled him off.

Tears streaming down my face, I bent down to Ratliff who was bleeding with a black eye, curled up in a ball.

"Ratliff! Ratliff can you hear me!?" I cried sobbing.

Everyone came out.

I put my head on him, his hearts still beating, and held him and cried.

I turned to Riker.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?" I said

"I-I" Riker said

"Riker!? Are you insane?" Vanessa asked him, he turned to me,

"Rydel I am so sorry he didn't know what he was doing-" she began

"No! Leave me alone all of you!" I said

Vanessa turned to Riker and held his arm. She noticed his hand was bleeding so she took him to the bathroom to clean up. I can't believe him!

Or Vanessa! Ugh!

Rocky and Ryland still holding them back.

"Call the ambulance!" Maia said

"Oh my stars! Riker how could you do such a horrible thing! Not my little boy!" Stormie said while rushing out of the room and calling the ambulance.

"R-Rydel?" Ellington said

"Ratliff?" I said caressing his head.

"It's -sniff- gonna be -sniff- okay" I'm sobbing, how could things turn so quickly?

The ambulance arrived,

"I have to go with him!" I said crying while they lifted him up into the ambulance truck.

"I'm sorry mam only close relatives can come, are you blood related?" He asked.

"I'm his fiancé" I said

"Ok come with us please" he said.

I climbed in and sat bedside Ratliff the whole time holding his hand while they put a mask on him.

How could Riker do this? How? My own brother? Do this to his best friend? The same day we got engaged?? All these questions going through my head.

Just a second ago everyone was so happy for us, and now we are on our way to the hospital.

I laid my head down on him and started crying, making sure to never let go of his hand.

I felt someone pet my hair,

"Rydel" Ratliff whispered.

"Oh Ellington, I'm so sorry this shout have never happened to you this-this is all my fault I'm so sorry" I went on sobbing.

"Shhhh" he said while wiping my tears away, "everything's going to be fine, it's not your fault at all, I'm gonna be okay, don't worry about me" he whispered.

I kissed his cheek,

I was about to say something but the truck stopped and they took him out and rushed him to a room, they wouldn't let me come, no matter how hard a tried to convince them.
