Just then the door bell rings...

I sigh as I make my way to the door.
I open the door only to be greeted by a giant box covered with a blanket???
The box looks more like a cage and with a sticky note on it with my name along with a key.

I don't have many friends and the ones I have would never give me such a big 'gift', maybe it's been delivered to the wrong address. But the sticky note has my name!!. I am so lost in my thoughts that a shuffling noise from the cage makes me jump in my place.
Okay Harry this cage is way too big for a puppy, maybe there is a kitten inside!!! Nahhh kitten is way too small for this cage. Maybe an alligator? Yes! This cage is perfect for an alligator.
I slowly push the blanket on the cage only to be greeted by a lump inside the cage.
And the 'lump' starts shuffling around. I never knew an alligator could sleep on its back I - Oh my God it has hair! Alligator with hair??
A soft feathery caramel coloured hair. I start searching on the box to find any details about the thing inside the cage. Aha! There is  a note with something written on it. It says 'Kitten Hybrid'. Okay my guess was right, there is a kitten inside. Why the hell would someone gift me a hybrid?? Should sort this out in the morning.

Now that I know there is nothing dangerous inside, I open the cage to let the hybrid out. I slowly shake the hybrids shoulder. It starts to stir and turns towards me, slowly peeking out of the blanket with a shy look on its face. I am so lost in the hybrids eyes that I don't register the hybrid coming closer to me. I bring the hybrid out of the cage and inside my house.

Once inside I take a good look at the hybrid. Soft feathery caramel coloured hair in a messy yet cute fringe, beautiful oceanic blue eyes where I find myself drowning in, cute button nose, rosy cheeks, a thin yet kissable pink lips. Kissable??? I clear my throat "Uh um Hello?" I said.
"H-Hi" he replied back and looked up at me and did a small wave. I just give him a fond smile. He brings his small finger to poke at my dimples and starts giggling. I just look at him with an amused expression and he stops giggling.
"What's your name dear?" I asked him.
"L-Louis's name is Louis!!" He cheered. Oh! Great! Third person speaking. Dumb! I rolled my eyes.
"What is your name?" He asked me curiously.
"Harry" I replied back.
I am not a very patient person and I don't wanna spend my time sitting with him here.
"Okay! Do you need something to eat?" I asked him a little harshly.
He just looks up at me with wide eyes and shakes his head no.
"Louis! Come here" I call him and he starts following me to the kitchen.
I place a glass of milk and some cookies in front of him and tell him to start eating. Once he is done I go to my room with him following me. I rummage through my closet to find something that fits him. Finally, I give him some pyjama bottoms and a sweater cause it's cold. He comes out of the bathroom looking very cute. The sweater way too big on him giving him sweater paws and the pyjama pants so loose on him that he keeps pulling it up. I have to admit he is damn adorable and fragile. I start smiling looking at him. But I stop smiling once he looks up at me cause I can't have him thinking that I'm a softie. He looks intimidated by me and I love to keep it that way. I show him the guestroom to sleep in.
"Good night Louis" I said to him.
" Good night Ha-rry" he whispered back to me and then I went to my room to sleep.

That night I went to bed with a smile on my face and a thought in my mind that I am no longer lonely in this house.

On the other side Little Louis went to bed thinking about how lonely he is in this house.

Little did they know there was something waiting for them when they wake up.
A little thing that could change their lives forever.
