"There, the chicken is coated." She smirked at her again and Camila took the chicken and hit her arm with it. "Hey!"
"You're the most annoying person on the planet!"
"You know what...that hurts my feelings."
"Go fuck yourself."
"Or...better idea...you could-"
"Not a chance in hell," she interrupted her before she could finish her sentence. Lauren raised an eyebrow before leaning down, brushing her lips against the side of her neck she didn't get egg yolks on. She kissed the side of her throat, nipping at the sensitive skin, as her hands kept her wrists pinned down next to her head. Camila's eyes closed briefly as her lips parted when she kissed a little harder, feeling her teeth graze her neck and she cursed herself when she let out the softest moan. But before she knew it Lauren was sitting up again.
"We should probably clean this up," she said and Camila blinked rapidly, not knowing how to react to what just happened. Sure, they'd been fooling around a lot but it still sort of took her by surprise when it would happen. Lauren was still sitting on her, adding an unnecessary pressure between her legs, and she felt the sudden need to reach out and grab the girl's thighs. But Lauren climbed off of her and extended a hand to help her up off the floor as well.
"Yeah, we probably should," she agreed dumbly, wiping some of the flour and bread crumbs from her face.
"Yeah well, you get started in here and I'll...go take a shower." Camila nodded her head, still in a sort of daze and it took her a solid ten seconds to realize that Lauren left her to clean the mess by herself.
"You're such an ass!" she yelled after her, hearing her obnoxious laughter from the bathroom. She poked her head out, tossing her shirt off to the side somewhere.
"Wanna join me?" she asked with a wink and Camila huffed in annoyance, despite still being slightly turned on from before.
"No, go to hell."
"Suit yourself, loser," she called out, "Door's open if you change your mind." Camila's face took on a reddish tint at her smug tone and she shook her head. She really did need to take a shower though, she argued.
"Dammit Lauren," she muttered. Biting her lip, she followed her roommate into the bathroom.

Camila didn't think she would ever get involved with her roommate in one way or another upon first meeting her. If anything, Lauren was the type of person Camila felt she should probably avoid at all costs. Their relationship was weird, whatever it was; that much she was sure of. Camila knew Lauren's biggest secrets and knew just how much of a mess the girl really was.
Her mind always seemed to go back to the traumatizing experiences the green eyed girl divulged to her every time she would be at work, watching a miniature version—looks-wise, anyway—of her roommate sitting happily amongst the other children. And she could never help the slight twinge of sadness she would feel knowing how badly her mother wanted to come back to her but she just couldn't.
There was no mistaking the way her face would light up like never before whenever she'd get to see and spend time with her daughter. And Camila wished it could be easy for her to just go home and live a normal life with her family. But she knew that nothing was ever easy, especially when it came to Lauren.
"Hey princess," a male voice called out once school was over and the parents came to pick their kids up. Camila looked up from the papers she was sorting into files and saw Lauren's brother crouch down with open arms as Kayla ran right into them. She smiled at them just as he noticed her across the room. "Hey Camila."
