Chapter 8

||||Piper's POV|||

I sat in my room and thought about how good this place is, they have pretty much everything you need, i looked at my hands and knew I'd have to go for a shower soon because I was quite dirty

I stood up knowing i could stay in here forever, Gunner will come for me with the rest of the group and I should be out with the others waiting for them "Piper , finally you're out, i've been waiting for you, your friends are coming for you" Hector smiled, Hector was quite a gentleman, he didn't disturb a girl in her room he just waits till she comes out

"really?" I smiled "yes, i got some of my boys out there getting them" he smiled, i was so overwhelmed i jumped in his arms and hugged him "Agnes, has washed some of your clothes and has gave you some more" Hector said releasing me, i nodded and lifted the clothes that he dropped when I hugged him and I went and got changed.

when I was finally changed, i left my room and went towards the main hall where all the other were walking around "well hello beautiful" Mason smiled "hey Mason" I smiled "I heard you're leaving" he said his smile fading "yeah, I'm going back with my friends" I replied tapping my thigh awkwardly "why? why would you go back out there when you're more safe here with us, if your friends want to go out there and die then they can!" he shouted, i smacked him hard across the face making others look at us "you have no right saying that about my friends!" I shouted, shocked about what I just did.

Mason looked at me and I knew he was going to get me back, I backed up and ran up the stairs, he grabbed my legs and pulled so that i fell and smacked my face of the stairs, I moaned in pain and turned around, he lifted his hand and smacked me hard across my face, i screamed in pain but he silenced it by kicking me in the stomach.

he hit me again and suddenly an arrow went into his arm, Mason screamed in pain and looked around to see who did that "who did that?!" he screamed, I covered my face as pain throbbed through it "you bastard, how dare you hit a girl!" I heard someone shout, I looked down and seen a young man walking up the steps

"you done this?!" Mason shouted before the guy punched him "do i look like i have a weapon...no i didn't fucking do that" the guy said, he grabbed my hand and helped me up "you're lucky i dont feed your pussy ass to them things out there" he said as he walked me down the steps, then Amanda came over to me and looked at my face and began cleaning it.

"Piper" I heard, that voice...that voice was something I hadn't heard for awhile, the crowd of people moved out of my way as I walked through them, until I made it to the end and there stood Gunner and John "oh my god" I smiled hugging them both and behind them i seen Hailey being carried away to one of the rooms

I pulled away and ran towards Bobby who was carrying her "what happened? Is she okay?" i asked moving her hair out of her face "i'll tell you when i know" Bobby said before walking away, a couple of the nurses and doctors ran after him to assist, my heart sank and i walked back to the boys, Gunner grabbed me and looked at me "I'm fine" i whispered then i seen the crossbow slung across him.

i smiled slightly and he looked at the crossbow "i wasn't going to let him hurt you" Gunner whispered.

I looked at Piper and slowly leaned down and kissed her, she was shocked at first but then wrapped her arms around my neck, in this moment i was happy, i wasn't worried or scared i was just happy

Piper pulled away and hugged me "I've missed you so much" she said starting to cry, I hugged her back and looked at John, I pulled away when he walked up to us "what happened to Hailey?" Piper asked all of a sudden "we had to drown her because she doesn't know how to swim and when we got to the platform, she just wouldn't wake up, she's got a faint pulse but she's in bad shape" I explained

"Gunner that wasn't a smart decision" Piper said "she agreed to it" John mumbled "well its just a waiting game now" Piper said, she grabbed my hand "i'll show you where she is" Piper smiled walking us up the stairs.

"she's in there" Piper smiled looking in the door window, "hello folks, glad you got here safely" Hector said, i remembered him "maybe y'all should go get cleaned up, we've got hot water and when you're finished you can come down and get some food" Hector smiled "thank you sir" I said shaking his hand "I might just stay with Hailey until she wakes up" John said

Hector nodded and smiled "that okay then, ill send you up some food when its ready" Hector said before tapping Piper's shoulder and leaving "I'll talk to you all later" John said opening the room door, then I looked at Piper "shower?" she smiled, i rose my eyebrow and grabbed her kissing her.

The hot water felt amazing as it pounded down on us, she smiled at me and kissed me, i wrapped my arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around me neck, The kiss was passionate and it was awesome, I lifted her into my arms and pushed my body against her's making her moan loudly and tug my hair.

When we were all dressed we made our way downstairs because the bell rung for food, My clothes where abit big because that's all they had, i guess but i was grateful for dry clothes, piper smiled at me and i smiled back, i knew I loved her, It took me till earlier to really figure that out, we sat down and began to eat "it's getting dark out why dont you all stay till your friend is well enough" Hector said

Piper looked at me and i smiled "yeah that's a good plan" i agreed.

We ate and enjoyed food, It was amazing to eat proper food and not crap that we could find, I slowly stood up and smiled "I'm really tired, so I'm just going to sleep" I smiled, Hector nodded and piper grabbed my hand

we walked up the stairs and to pipers room, i spun her around and pulled her into my arms then i fell onto the bed and lay her on top of me, she smiled and kissed me stroking my face, I noticed her finger was healing it, looked better abit bruised but better than before, i kissed her fingers and placed it on my face.

"we can just sleep like this" I whispered, she looked at me and smiled before sliding down beside me, I turned to my side and closed my eyes, she kissed my forehead and stroked my cheek "sleep" she whispered as I drifted off.
