A bright light shined down on me. I opened my remaining eye due to it starting to burn from the sun gleaming down on me. I squinted from the brightness and sat up, rubbing my head gently. I looked around curiously, wondering 'I'm alive?'
Slowly, I stood up and eyed my surroundings. I saw that everyone on the island was...dead. It was only me.
I had to make a living, build a sturdy boat to make it back to Jellal and the others.
For now, I had to find the things I needed for survival on this damned island. I ventured through the torn down structure, my feet aching to each step I took on the rubble-like ground.
