Kamini's POV:

Have you ever felt paralyzed?

Or worse have you ever felt what you most feared, suddenly come trampling upon you.

More like a sweet nightmare.

I didn't even notice Mrs. Adams intense gaze on me.

What stood before me took all my attention.

His jawline was strong but it was gentle as if it was created for holding.

His shoulder length blonde hair laid perfectly on his shoulders as if it resisted the wind.

He had warm, light blue eyes that made you instantly calm no matter what may trouble you.

He wore an all white suit with a sky blue tie...now that I think about it, his eyes and tie are quite distinguished.

As if he dressed this way for a purpose.

"Eh...hem! Kamini!" Mrs. Adams barked.

I snapped out of it.

"Miss...I really didn't learn your last name." He stated.

I paused again.

He. was. gorgeous.

I couldn't deny it...I would have to be blind to say I didn't notice his charm.

And that...only made me feel like what Mrs. Adams said earlier was true.

"M-my last name is Zacharia." I finally managed to say.

"Ah, Kamini Zacharia." He tasted each word.

"Yes. I am terribly sorry for her mishap of stuttering." She shot a glare my way.

"It's okay, I'm sure she was just amused by my choice of dress tonight." he sent a wink my way.

I knew my cheeks were tomatoes by now.

I continued to stand on the last step of the stairs.

How come I've never noticed his looks?

Maybe, because you're always too busy fanning, dusting and practicing your house skills on how to become a proper English woman.

He extended his arm to me.

His blue eyes pierced mine.

I stepped down the last step and took his hand.

His hand felt warm and smooth.

As soon as our hands met, I felt an electric current go up my arm raising every hair on my arm.
