“Kuya, you know what I met some jaw-dropping guy at the bar where you abandoned me.”
“Hoy hindi po kita inabandona, dapat nga magpasalamat ka pa saken kase nakakita ka ng gwapo dun maliban saken.”
“Ang yabang mo! But I guess he’s a little older than me, siguro kasing edad mo.”
“Why are you talking about guys right now Jill? Gusto mo ng mag-boyfriend no?” Then kuya gave me a malicious look. Sira-ulo talaga si kuya. I was just sharing my experience with him. Duh? Wala naman kase akong kapatid na babae to talk with.
“Shut up!”
“Watch your mouth young lady.” Out of nowhere sumulpot si Mom. Yes. Rule number one, a lady should never swear. I feel like I’m living with the royal family, but I understand Mom. She just wants the best for us.
“Sorry Mom.” Then I gave her my best puppy look ever, I know Mom can’t resist me this way.
“Mom, bakit ang daming beverages naka-prepare?”
“Yang kuya mo kase, nag-invite ng mga barkada niya.”
“How come he’s allowed to drink and I’m not!?” Then I glare at my kuya who is smiling ear to ear. Life’s unfair. He’s allowed to drink, he’s allowed to have girlfriends and I’m not.
“Jill naman, you’re still a baby.”
“Mom! I’m already 16.” I protest, but she just smiled and kuya is laughing his ass off. Total jerk he is, but nevertheless I love him. He’s my brother after all.
“Halika dito Jill.”
“What?” I ask kuya grumpily pero lumapit pa rin ako sakanya. Masunuring kapatid kaya ako. To my surprise kuya hugged me real tight as he’s laughing.
“Ang cute mo talaga Jill!” then he pinched my nose. Argh. He’s always torturing me but I like it. This is how he shows his affection to me.
“Kuya!”
“Hahaha!”

It’s already 11 in the evening but I’m still up updating my blog. Yes, I’m a blogger and I love it. Dapat talaga is kanina pa ako matutulog but I couldn’t focus kase sobrang ingay nila kuya.Nakakainis na nga eh. Kanina ko pa gustong bumaba don to tell them to shup up pero siyempre hindi ko pwedeng gawin yun. Nakakainis!
Dahil wala akong magawa I decided to go movie marathon. It’s sembreak after all and I don’t need to worry about my grades. Yes, one of my major concern in my life are my grades. My parents keep on pushing me, to strive harder and harder that I need to be the best that I can be.
I get out from my room and bumaba na ako sa hagdan, kase naman yung entertainment room namen is nasa baba pa.
“Ma’am ba’t gising pa ho kayo?” I was a little startled as Nanay Cora spoke. She’s my nanny since birth and I so love her. Wala kase siyang anak so parang ako na yung tinuturing niyang baby girl.
