Our friends over at fright are running a brand new contest and have invited us to take part! Read the details below carefully and get those wheels turning...
CREATURE FEATURE WRITING CHALLENGE
PROMPT: Write us a story story (up to 3000 words) featuring a CREATURE of some kind. The "creature" is a loose term and can be a fantastical one from your own imagination, a recognizable creature based on myth or folklore, or even a human that just so happens to have a vile nature. It can be based in this world or an entirely new one of your own creation. The possibilities are endless!
But please note:
Your story must also fit with the themes of the @fright profile, meaning it should be chilling, scary, thrilling, and/or frightening. We are also looking for stories suitable for everyone, so no mature entries, please.

*Only entries submitted on the form will be considered entered.
*All entries must be written in English
*The story you submit must be a NEW STORY, not part of a collection due to the prize, and not previously written.
DUE DATE: AUGUST 15th, 2016
PRIZE: 15 finalists will be chosen and added to Fright's Creature Feature reading list and will receive a one-off Challenge Finalist cover sticker. The overall winner will receive bragging rights, a Winner sticker, and shoutout from Fright !
