Mitch grunted for maybe the thirtieth time.

He picked up his phone to look at the time.

6:30

Great, just great.

He looked at his lock screen, a candid picture of him and Scott laughing about god knows what, that Kirstie had taken last week.

He kept swiping through pictures nonchalantly.

Most of them were taken while on tour. All of his favorite pictures were with Scott and Pentatonix.

Mitch smiled at the thought of his favorite people. He loved everyone on tour and cared for them like family.

Except from Scott. Scott was family.
His bond with Scott was something entirely different. There was no way to really explain it.

More than friends, less than lovers.

They always had each others backs, whatever the situation may be. It was kinda hard not to, considering how they were practically conjoined twins.

Mitch stumbled upon an old photo of the trio, taken a year after the sing off.

He almost laughed out loud at how different they looked.

Mitch briefly recalled the time he decided to loose the weight.

Kirstie had insisted he didn't need to but he knew it would make him feel better.
And it did.
Mitch had accomplished his goals.

He was confident in himself, he loved himself and no one could take it away from him.

Change was good.

He shot a quick text to Scott.

Soon enough, there was a knock on his door.

"Mitchy? Can I come in?"

Mitch was only wearing underwear.

Eh. Will have to do.

"Yeah sure Stephanie, come in."

The door opened and a shirtless Scott slipped in.

"Why is it always so cold in your room?" He hugged himself and rubbed his arms for emphasis.

Mitch laughed.

"If you want to cuddle with me you can always just ask you know."

Scott put his left hand in the pocket of his sweatpants while lazily leaning against the wall.

Mitch was suddenly aware of how beautiful he looked.

His blond hair was curly and tousled from sleep, and his sweatpants sat low on his waist exposing his hipbones.

The first ray of sunlight peeked through the blinds and fell on chest, highlighting his toned body even more if possible.

Breathtaking.

"Take a picture it lasts longer!" Scott laughed, still carelessly leaning on the wall.

"Actually, you're right." Mitch agreed and without giving Scott any time to protest, he snapped a picture.

Okay that was a lie.

He snapped several pictures since Scott started laughing and that was too precious to not capture as well.

"I hope you're satisfied with that babe. Now move over, I'm so tired!" Scott fell on the bed and immediately grabbed the sheets, pulling them over both of them.

"I still think you just want an excuse to cuddle with me but I don't really blame you." Mitch chuckled but moved closer to the blonde.

Scott put his arms around him.

"Maybe you're right." He whispered in Mitch's ear.

"When am I not?"

Mitch turned around and put his hands around Scott's neck.

They were so close he could smell the blond's shampoo and cologne. He felt his breath, hot and shaky on his face and could hear his heartbeat.

He wondered if Scott could hear his as well.

Scott smiled.

"I could list a couple of occasions." The taller man whispered.

"Oh really? Tell me about it stud."

Scott leaned even closer and planted a gentle kiss on Mitch's neck.

Mitch felt him smile against his neck and held him even closer pushing their bodies flat against each other.

"Mitch if I tell you something do you promise to not get mad?"

"I can never be mad at you for more than 10 minutes you know that."

Mitch pulled away from Scott's embrace slightly so that he could look in his eyes.

His eyes.

Mitch looked into his favorite baby blues with adoration.

His eyes trailed down to Scott's lips and he noticed a bit of blood from the biting Scott had done earlier.

"I might be in love with you.. Actually let me rephrase that, I am in love you. Very much so actually." He breathed a shaky laugh and took his arms off of Mitch's back.

"Oh.. Well in that case Scooter, I think I might be in love with you too. For quite long actually."

He reached for Scott's hand and kissed it gently, fingers trailing over their matching skull tattoo.

'Till death do us apart.

Mitch found himself wrapped up in his arms again, kissing him and Scott was kissing back but it wasn't a hungry kiss.

It was slow and sweet and filled with love and bottled up emotions.

After a while, many neck kisses and cuddles later, Mitch fell asleep.

Scott found his chance and silently unlocked the small boy's phone, snapping a picture of him sleeping peacefully in his arms.
