Aquarius POV:
Spotlights were dancing faster than everybody on the dance floor, and many found that funny. Though it was dark and the party participants were growing tired, it was still prom. I weaved out of the crowd and looked at Scorpio.
Breathing in I thought of all the times that I had stared at him, watching as he walked away. As he stood up from his table to go dance with his friends, I took this as my moment. I sped up and grasped his wrist.
He turned to me, staring down at m blue hair and green dress, his midnight eyes shimmering in the lights. I opened my mouth to speak but no sound came out. His expression seemed to light up, as if my beating heart, my pulse, were translating my message to him.
"I love you too, Aquarius." I stood in shock as he leaned in and kissed me. I stood there, stunned, as we slow danced into the center, enjoying the rest of the night in each other's arms (and not getting caught by Aries and Gemini's pranks).
