Alex's POV:

I woke up the next morning in my bed, but Alan wasn't laying beside me. It made me kinda sad, but all of his stuff was in my guestroom. I figured he carried me in here and went to his room for the night. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and headed into the bathroom to take a nice hot bath. I put on some dark green shorts and a Black Veil Brides t-shirt on. I headed downstairs and found Alan making breakfast. The smell of bacon and eggs made my stomach growl. "Hey, how are you this morning?" I asked him curiously. I walked up to him and gave him a hug, which he seemed to enjoy. "I'm good. How are you?" He said with a slight laugh. "Good." I replied. "Would you like men to make the coffee?" I asked as I walked towards the coffee pot. "Yeah, that would be lovely. You make the best coffee." He said, which made me laugh. "Yeah right." I said with a big smile. "I'm serious." He said with a laugh as well. I made us some coffee, and we ate breakfast once it was finished. "What should we do today?" Alan asked as he took a drink. "I don't know, I get there days off thanks to the new workers. Maybe I could introduce you to my friend Zander." I said. "That would be nice, but what should we do?" He said. "I'm not sure. I'll call him or text him later and ask; he's probably still sleeping." I said as we continued to eat. Once we were finished I got the mail from my mailbox and found Damon's postcard. "Who's that from?" Alan asked curiously as I walked into the living room. "It's from Zander's brother, Damon. He went to Ireland, and he told me he'd send me a postcard. He knows how much I've wanted to travel." I said as I read what he wrote on the back.

Dear Alex,

You'd absolutely love it here! I wish you and Zander could have come with me. It's lovely to learn about the culture and history here. I got you some souvenirs that I think you'll like. I'm having so much fun here, but I can't wait to back home and see all of you. I hope you're having a great time at home. See ya soon! :)

"Why don't you?" He asked after I put the postcard on my fridge. "Why don't I what?" I asked curiously. "Why don't you travel? You're young, and you don't have a lot of commitment." He said with furrowed brows. "Well, I haven't had the time. I work most of the time, and when I'm off I like to relax and enjoy what this small town has to offer. Speaking of that, would you like to come to the fall festival?" I said. "Sure, when is it?" He said. "It's next weekend. The have him made crafts, good food, hayrides, and even a haunted house." I said. "That sounds like fun." He said with a smile. "It is, Halloween is my favorite holiday and fall is my favorite season." I said as I started to wash the dishes. "That's nice to know." He said with a slight chuckle. He went into the living room to watch the news while I washed the breakfast dishes. When I was finished I decided to text Zander.

Me: Hey, Alan and I were wondering if you'd like to hangout today.

Zander: Sweet, I would love to. What did you two have in mind?

Me: I'm not sure, we were hoping you had an idea.

Zander: Why don't we all go bowling. You and I haven't went bowling in ages, it'll be fun. Did you get Damon's postcard btw?

Me: Great, I'll ask Alan if he'd like to go bowling. I did get his postcard; I wish we were with him.

Zander: If we were with him we wouldn't be able to hangout with Lord Alan of the Rickman. ;)

Me: True. Lol. I'll let you know of he's up to bowling. :)

Zander: Okay, ttyl. :)

"Hey Alan, what do you say about bowling?" I asked. "With you and Zander?" He asked. "Yeah, I texted him and that's what he suggested." I replied as I sat down beside of him. "I'd like that. I haven't been bowling since I was younger." He said with a smile. "Good." I said with a smile. I texted Zander back and told him Alan said it would be fine. We agreed to meet up at the bowling alley around three thirty. "So, how is your friend? How is he like?" Alan asked. After lunch he and I went on a walk in the park, which was lovely. The leaves were all different colors and the temperature was nice and cool, just like I like it. I've always loved cooler temperature, but I hate the winter. "He's nice. He's kinda like me in some ways, which is why we get along so well." I said. "That's good, at least I know he and I will get along." He replied as we sat on a bench. "I think the both of you will get along just fine." I said with a smile. "What's his story?" Alan asked after a few moments of comfortable silence. "He had a good childhood, and he has a very loving family. His sister is...well..she's a drug addict. She has been put through treatment, but she keeps relapsing. We all hope she gets better though." I said. "At least her family is willing to help her out. When family members turn their backs on people that are addicted it just gets worse." He said. "I know." I replied. We spent the rest of the time talking about various things that we like and don't like. We soon headed back home and changed before we headed to the bowling alley. When we got there Zander was waiting by his car, so we parked beside of him. "Hey, how hands your day been?" Zander asked curiously as he gave me a hug. "Good, I've just been hanging out with Alan all day." I said with a smile. "Well that's good. It's nice to finally meet Mr. Rickman for the first time, how are you?" He said as he shook hands with Alan. "I'm doing well, how about yourself? Please, call me Alan. Any friend of Alex's is a friend of mine." Alan replied with a sweet smile. "I'm good." Zander replied. I could tell Zander relaxed a bit more when Alan spoke to him. It made me happy that both of my friends were going to getting to know each other. We made our way into the bowling alley, and I was surprised to see that there wasn't many people there. I guess everyone was going to come latter since the night prices went down. We got our bowling shoes and paid for a few games. "We're just playing for fun, so nobody ends up crying." I said, giving Zander a look. "Hey, don't look at me." He said, which made Alan laugh. Alan and Zander were doing most of the talking, but I didn't mind. I wanted them to bond, so all three of us could hangout more often. I walked over to the checkout counter to get us some food. I was starving! Suddenly a group of guys walked in, and I could feel them staring at me; I didn't say anything about it though. "Excuse me, but...what's a girl like you here all alone?" One of them asked. I looked over to see a guy about my height with a goatee, blond hair, and blue eyes. He was wearing tan colored skinny jeans and a plane blue t-shirt on. "My name's Troy, what's yours?" He said. "My name is, leave me alone." I said. "Feisty, I like my girls that way. I rolled my eyes, and wished he'd just disappear. "Did you get the food?" I heard Zander ask as he came to my rescue. "Not yet, I'm still waiting." I replied. "Are you dating this emo douche?" Troy asked with amusement in his eyes. "Excuse me, but I don't think that's a very nice thing to call someone. And...what makes you think she's dating him?" Alan asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "You? She's dating you? An old man?" Troy said with surprise. "So what if she is? He's ten times the man you could ever be. He's far more nicer too." Zander asked with an angry look on his face. "Yeah right. You all are just pulling my leg. She's not dating either of you; you just don't want me to talk to her." Tony said. "Just leave us alone. I don't need guys like you in my life." I said as the lady called my number. "Whatever." He said as he walked off with his friends. They were practically all clones, they just were different heights. We got our food and sat down at the table closest to put lane, and started eating. "Thanks for that you guys." I said with a smile. "You're welcome, even though it didn't go as planned." Zander said, which made us laugh. "It's the thought that counts." Alan said smiling. When we were finished eating we went back to our game. The song Lane Boy by Twenty One Pilots came one (the song is above), and Zander and I started singing along with it. Alan seemed very amused. When the song went off we took a short break before we started our last game. "I better get home before my parents start worrying about me." Zander said once we finished playing. "Yeah, it's getting late." I said as I checked the time on my phone. It was going on ten o'clock; I had no idea we spent so much time there, but it was worth every second. "See you later." I said as Zander and I hugged. We got into our cars and went our separate ways. "Zander seemed like a nice guy. I really had fun with you two tonight." Alan said during the car ride home. "I'm glad you liked it." I said with a smile. We changed into our pajamas and just went to bed; I persuaded him into sleeping next to me. "Why did you want me to sleep with you tonight?" He asked curiously. "Because you're cozy." I said, which made him laugh. "Aww." He said as he ruffled my hair. "Can I ask you a question?" Alan asked after a while of silence. "Sure." I replied. "Will you be my Alice?" He asked. "What?" I asked curiously. "I'll be your Absalom if you be my Alice." He said as he played with my hair. "Awww, Alan. I'd love to be your Alice." I replied. He laughed and pulled me close to him. After a while I fell into a deep sleep.
