     Scotty came bursting onto the bridge with the largest grin anyone had ever on his face. "Whoa, Scotty. What's the excitement about?" Kirk asked. 
    
                          
    "My little lassie niece is coming aboard for the internship!" Scotty said, still grinning. 
    
                          
    The Enterprise was hosting some soon-to-graduate Starfleet Academy student in an unpaid internship. They would spend a year aboard the ship, working in what their assumed job would be. "What's her major?" Spock inquired, ever the strait face.
    
                          
    "She's undecided, but I'm hoping I can call her to Engineering, she's got quite the knack for fixin' things." Scotty answered.
    
                          
    "I hope she finds a nice spot aboard the Enterprise then." Kirk said, grinning.
    
                          
    Scotty's face turned purple as he yelled, "Lay a finger on her, Captain, and you are a dead man!"
