"Well what do we got her, Princess?" I immediately jumped across my bed to him to grab my book. He put the book over his head from my reach and opened it. Since he was 6'1, I was about 5'8 but it would annoy me every time he does this.

"Dad, give it back!" I shout-whispered, still trying to grab the book.

"May 23, 2013." He started reading. Oh no, not that day. Please don't read that!

"As I was walking into the cafeteria today, I saw Marcus. Oh, so it's about a boy?" He said with a smirk on his face.

"Dad, I promise you if you don't give that back to me right now-"

"He saw me and I saw him. We connected eyes with each other, until I bumped into someone, making the girl's tray slipped off her head and landed on my new hairdo that my mom gave me the night before."

I gave up and sat on the bed, putting my face in my hands and was going to cry. My dad plays too much, it irks me so much. He started laughing at what happened, until I heard Mom's voice filled the room.

"I tell you to do one simple a*s thing and you decided to make our daughter cry?!" She shouted. I looked up and saw her with my book and a threatening kind of look that she was giving Dad.

"I was just kidding with her, wasn't I?" He said, turning his head to me. I continued crying and got up under the covers, not want to hear another excuse that comes out of his mouth.

"You know she's sensitive, Zak! Why would you do that to her?!" I heard Mom shouted and hearing her placing my book back on my dresser.

"I didn't mean to! Look I'll apologize to her! I know what would cheer her up." He said.

"I don't care what you have to say to me!" I shouted. "I told you about my diary and told you to never read it. But now you betrayed me, Dad. And you hurt me."

"Miya, baby, I'm sorry-"

"I'm not accepting your apology! Just leave me alone."

"But-"

"Leave. Now!" He dropped his head and disappeared into the corner of my room. I've never talked to my father like that, ever. He was like a best friend to me. I would tell him every thing because I was much of a daddy's girl when I was growing up.

"Miya, you didn't have to be like that." Mom said, sitting next to me and rubbing my back.

"But, Mom. He acted like a little 5 year old when he was living and dead.," I cried.

"I don't blame you for that. I still treat him like he's one of you guys when you were little." I chuckled a little and wiped my eyes.

"Miya, all men act like that. Women are more mature that men and it gives them time to-"

"Oh, I know." I cut her off and grabbed some tissue to blow my nose. "He just ticks my nerves a lot."

"Oh, I fell your pain trust me." She said, placing a hand on my thigh. I laughed and got up from the bed to walk over to my side to get in the bed.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Mom." I said, getting up under the covers then cutting off the lights.

"Goodnight, baby girl." I didn't see her anymore, since you can't see her when the lights are off, but felt her kiss my cheek and then feeling her leave. I turned to something else on the t.v., Project Runway, then dosed off 5 minutes later.

*Key's P.O.V*

"Zak, you need to apologize to her tomorrow or we'll lose number of days with out seeing the kids or finishing with our problem." I said. We were now walking down the Vegas Strip, ignoring the loud, drunk people that were out this time of night. Oh, how I miss those days with the crew.

"I did apologize to her." Zak said with his hands in his pocket and hood up.

"Oh, really now? You want to lie like that now?" I took off his hood, exposing his messed up ghostly hairdo.

"Hey, watch it!" He said, fixing his hair.

"Oh come on! Like someone is really going to see your hair." I said.

"He, nice hair, Zak!" I heard a guy shout from across the street and laughing along with his buddies. It was a ghost, of course.

"Those darn people gets on my nerves." Zak said, throwing his hood back on.

"But no you did not apologize to her. I heard you with my own ears, Zak." We turned a corner into an alley way to take a short cut.

"Ok fine I didn't apologize. But I will tomorrow. No big deal."

"How can you be so f-ing calm about this?! You use to be overly protected of her and treated her as a delicate flower. as if it where me."

We stopped walking and Zak looked at me with his glowing blue eyes that I fell in love with the first day I met him. "You're right. I'm being too immature and I should stop acting like this. I'm sorry, baby."

"You can say that again." I said.

"You're right-" I slapped his arm at his humor and chuckled. He laughed and gave me a kiss. He grabbed my hand and we began to walk again.

"I want to take you out on a date." He said, looking up at the night sky.

"To where?" I said, looking at him.

"Let's go to the movies and mess with the projector. You know, to scare the living s-it out of people?" He said, smirking at me.

"Did I say stop being immature?" I said with a sarcastic tone. He gave me a glare and rolled his eyes. "You're no fun."

"Oh, okay then. If you scare at least twelve people by midnight, um I'll give you-"

"Some lovin'." He said, smirking.

I rolled my eyes and said "Movies it is then." He chuckled and grabbed my hand as we walked to the Vegas movie theater.
