Uh-oh

Hello I forgot if I came up with this story a long time ago, or if I found it on the internet, but I'm pretty sure I found it on the internet.

There was once a mother, her baby, and their dog. The single-mother would have to work all day to just be able to afford food for them. She would always leave the dog with the baby when she was away, because the dog was loyal and always took care of the baby's needs. She had a special way to communicate with the dog. A hiccuping cry meant that she was hungry, so the dog would get her bottle and give it to the baby. One day, the mom came him from work, and found blood on the floor. She gasped as it lead to her baby's crib. She saw the dog underneath the crib, with blood all over it's mouth. She screamed and beat the dog to death until she heard her baby laugh. She looked underneath, and her baby was smiling at her. Then, she saw the dead snake on the other side of the crib. It turned out that the dog saved the baby from the snake, and the blood was the snake's blood. It was too late to save the dog, she had already killed it.
