She stayed by him. She ignored the pain she felt when he caressed her sides, she ignored the sickness that stirred in her stomach when he kissed her on the lips. She ignored all of it because deep down the feeling was still there.

He'd returned to his normal self. Well she thought he had. He seemed okay with her now, yet sometimes she'd see him being secretive and it burned her to know what he was keeping. She needed to know. Although she thought she knew. But she didn't understand how. She didn't understand how one person was capable of that. She wouldn't dare to do it to him, so why her? But she wouldn't turn her back on him. She never did.
