She didn't get out. She got pushed around. This club was more packed. Somehow she ended up at the bar, with a cocktail in one hand and a shot in the other. She'd made friends for once in her life. They laughed when she stumbled through the crowds, edging her on more when she took another shot.

They made her forget him. They made her remember that she didn't walk away. She had grown up facing her problems. She'd never walk away from a situation where she had control over it. But right now, in the present. It didn't matter to her, she was enjoying it with her new friends.
