Omnipotent [Discontinued]

Chapter 5

I rubbed my cheek and purred against Papa's hand to acknowledge his request. Papa let out a small squeal at my actions and I heard him mumble a quiet "as cute as a kitten, as pink as a flower hehe" and I blushed a deeper shade. 

"Ok my little Flora, time for bed. Run along now." Papa said as he stood up and help a hand out for me to take.  

"F-flora?" I questioned quietly.

Emi chuckled, "It means flower, flowers are shy and only open up when they are ready but only for a few, kind of like you. Also when you blush, its a pretty rosey colour child." 

He put a hand against my cheek and I was drawn immediately to the warmness radiating from his palm. I snuggled up to his hand and embarrassingly enough let out a content purr.

I quickly pulled away and gave a nervous chuckle of my own. "Oops, sorry Papa, I guess that means its time for sleep." 

Papa nodded and walked me to his door. "Sleep tight my little Flora."

"You too Emi." I hesitated for a second but then decided that it would be ok and quickly lead up and gave Papa a tiny kiss on the cheek. I hugged Cora tighter to my chest and quickly made my way out of his room.

[TIME SKIP: 2HRS LATER]

I had been laying down for 2 hours without being ably to sleep. I had counted sheep, hidden under my covers, switched pillow sides, told Cora a story and still I could not sleep.

I tossed and turned and finally gave up with a sigh. I sat up and pulled my covers off of me. I gently laid Cora in the middle of my bed with his little Unicorn head propped on my pillow and covered him up. I know, I'm a little sappy but I believe he has feelings too. 

"Goodnight Cora, I won't keep you up any longer, you need your rainbow sleep. I'll see you in the morning, well more like in a few hours." Slowly I made my way out of my room and down the hall.

I stopped in front of Emi's room and stood there quietly. I couldn't hear anything from inside. Hesitantly, I lifted my hand and turned the door knob slowly as to not make any noise. I peeked my head in and surveyed the room. It was very dark so it was hard to see much but once my eyes adjusted to the lack of light, I noticed Papa on his bed.

He laid shirtless , on his tummy, sprawled out like a starfish., and his hair poking in all directions.

I had to suppress a giggle at the sight I had in front of me. 

I made my way into the room and shut the door quietly behind me. I took a small step and the floor board under me squeaked. I stood frozen in place and held my breath as I noticed Papa stir. He rolled onto his side but didn't wake up.

I let out a sigh of relief and took another small tentative step making sure not to step on the squeaky board again.

 I finally reached the foot of Emi's bed and slowly crawled on. Once My head touched the pillow next to Papa's head, I let out a content sigh and snuggled further into the warmness surrounding me. I pulled the comforter over me and closed my eyes, a small smile playing at my lips.

[Emeritus's POV]

I had been awake the whole time. My little ghoul thought he could be sneaky around me and that amused me.

I let him settle in and get comfortable. Slowly I moved closer to him and snaked my arms around his waist and brought him closer to me. 

He let out an adorable little yelp at my actions, but soon he began to coo at my sleep cuddles.

"Awe he's a cuddler" he said softly while he poked my cheek with his finger.

I let my laughter rubble through not being able to hold it in any longer. "Actually I'm awake little one" I whispered to him.

I felt his had freeze on my face and his body tense in my arms. "I-i'm sorry Papa, I just- I just couldn't sleep." he stuttered out.

I hummed in acknowledgment. "I's alright Flora, go to sleep I'm not mad. If ever you can't sleep you can always come to me. I'll chase the monsters away from you little one."

Omega stared at me with his  big baby blues and whispered, "pinky promise?" and held out his pinky.

"Yes, pinky promise" I wrapped my pinky around his. 

"Thank you Emi" he whispered as he snuggled closer to me and stuck his head in the crook of my neck. 

I heard his breath even out and small quiet little snores fall from him. I kissed the top of his head and closed my eyes.

I fell asleep with the last thought running through my mind being, what have you done to me my little Omega?
